Maybe they want to be all moved and comfy before the AGM because they are going to have to announce some 'bad-news' that might discourage the free-help and donation flow. -

Raining before the Flood?
by GrownMidget ini remember at my teen years when i was studying with a brother that he said to me that there was no rain before the flood.
instead there was this mist that you have.

I wasn't there, but I am pretty sure it rained a couple of times on the earth before 2370 BC. -

Jeb Bush would kill a baby !
by Simon inok, specifically he was talking about hitler.
apparently he was asked whether, if he could go back in time, he would kill him when he was a baby.. and he said "hell yeah !".
but still wtf?

Even if the question is ridiculous, why can't they just respond as dignified, serious adults? -

Maybe a more interesting question: would he have killed Mohammad? -

My wife has already mentioned (we are in Poland) that she had to wear her coat recently at the meetings. I'll ask her when she gets back (CO visit this week - should be normal temps) and also ask if they had any 'interesting' letters read from the platform about world wide rifs. -

Holy Grail of Free Energy Might be Possible
by cofty inevery chloroplast in every green leaf on planet earth is wonderfully efficient at absorbing energy from the sun.
in combination with a complex protein enzyme h2o molecules are gently eased apart and combined with co2 to produce energy and oxygen.. a synthetic version of this process would make unlimited, clean cheap energy possible but it has so-far eluded chemical engineers.
until now..... researchers at florida state university have discovered a method of using manganese oxide also known as birnessite to capture sunlight and then use that solar energy to create an oxidation reaction read more....

Is manganese oxide readily available? Need to check...

Had any weird dreams recently?
by LoveUniHateExams inso, i'll go first.. i dreamt last night that i was still at uni, i said goodbye to one of my lecturers.
then ulrika jonsson (former weather girl, shooting stars captain, and swedish nymphomaniac) gave me a lift home in her car - wtf?!
she kept trying to change the cd whilst trying to drive (reaching on the floor, looking for a cd).

I seem to have very lucid wandering/lost dreams. Could be in an airport/super mall or even small town. No matter how hard I try, I can't get back to where I was. I just get further away or end up going in circles.
The strange thing is that I recognize the dream and try to change the channel, but I can't.

Which bible character do you hate the most?
by Bonsai inthe more i think about it, the more i feel an extreme dislike for the apostle paul.
he was on par with hitler in his treatment of the jews before he "saw the light".
he replaced jesus teachings of love and mercy with a more legalistic, pharisaical concept of devotion to god.. any evil person can come to believe in god and worship him if the scales were literally and miraculously removed from his eyes.

@ the op: did you mean writer or character? Regarding Paul, I agree. For some reason, even when I read the bible for the first time, I got bad vibes from letters ascribed to Paul.

Watchtower Policy Claims Another Teenager
by Lee Elder ina tragic story of how the watchtower unduly influenced or brain washed a 14 year old jehovah's witness into martyrdom.
the real irony here is the synthetic blood that failed was a hemoglobin solution, and red blood cells are nothing but tiny doughnut shaped bags of hemoglobin.
any thinking person will conclude that if red cells are blood, then so is hemoglobin.

14. Think back to when you were 14. No way this should have been allowed to happen.
