  our resident theological authority could not come up w a single non-pagan original christian concept.. 'why in the world would you expect christianity not to contain the truth gleaned from paganistic beliefs.'.

  This naturally raises many questions: Why did christianty not invent anything new? Why did jesus call this paganism new wine? Most think the nt is better, kinder etc than the ot. Since paganism is its source, is paganism also better, kinder etc than the ot? Since paganism recieved these improvements first, does god endorse paganism and is christianity really a second best choice? Or is christianity really a demonic invention? Will rex openly embrace paganism, as some others here have, thus going to the real source?

  What Satanic Rituals???

  in a recent post metatron and judith mentioned in passing that dubs they knew had been involved in satanic rituals.

  forgive my morbid curiousity, but exactly what sorts of rituals were these?.

  bear in mind that as dubs we were told that the rituals of the roman catholic church were satanic, that smurfs were satanic, that rock'n'roll was satanic, etc., etc.

  That's very serious. Kind of shocking. Its the first i ever heard of the wt being in touch w this type of stuff.

  I am curious though, if satan is actually spoken of by name or w a picture or image in these rituals?

  they are the not-very-active-but-still-hard-liners type, especially his dad.

  If lying makes you sick, then just don't lie. Tell him he has to take care of it. It isn't your problem. Tell him if he doesn't, that you aren't going to cover for him. Either tell them the truth, or take yourself out of the loop. You could say to his parents that you aren't at liberty to talk about his business, and they are free to talk to him about their questions when he returns.

  After i found out they were fakers, i thought my posing the tough questions would get some of my friends or family out. It didn't, but it got me dfd. I thought of going to kingdom halls during meetings, copying all the car liscence numbers, from those, getting their names, addresses, phone numbers, and mailing them all antwt stuff.

  On a more practical level, lobbying the govt to tax them and stop all door to door canvassing by any religions would be enough. Let god do his own preaching.

  A fair question. I, and some others on this board, have been accused of being his agents, and i don't even believe in the guy. While no doubt satanists exist, accusations far out number them. Aliester crowley was accused of it. Of his stuff that i read, i didn't find any mention of the devil or rituals to him, although he did attempt to bring into existence an anti-christ. I suppose the poor kid (the anti-christ) got over it. Witches, shamans, the illuminatti (whoever the hell they are) are accused of having his aquaintence. In one of the supposedly best shamanic books there was absolutely no trace of satan. I think the devil has been blamed for a lot more than he has done. In the big reconning, if the devil is there, chritians will no doubt be required to pay him huge reparations.

  When i was a jw i liked the standard rock & roll everybody else liked. As an apostate, i like mozart, choir, sinead oconnor for example. Why? Good question. The human voice has something special. It's the right vibes for me, i guess.
