  daniel 8 for dummies - introduction: "the powers of the dark side" .

  the two articles i'm going to present are going to be an indictment of fred william franz.

  i consider franz to be the second most evil man in watchtower history, next to joseph franklin rutherford, if you measure the term "evil" not only by motive and action, but by the sheer numbers of people adversely affected from it.. when people were in his presence, franz's good sense of humor, apparent modesty and geeky way of dressing made him instantly likeable: up until the instant you crossed him or one of his interpretations, according to his nephew raymond franz.

  Well, i'm confused, frankly. Will the end/crash/2ndcoming/judgement/apocalypse/parousia/rapture/dissolutionofelements/tribulation/armageddon commence on the 31st in the morning, or at the end of it - midnight? Or later on , on the first of the new year? Another thing, what about the time zones? How will god/jesus work those into his destructive plans? I guess considering my inability to understand these times/seasons, it's no wonder i didn't remain a jw/christian.

  of interest to me is if i move back 70 years from 1914 i am getting the year 1844 which was a known date for the end of the world.. times .... 1844 + 70 years + 70 years + 7 years + 7 years.

  so we have the year 1998 ad finally.

  but what happens if we split the 70 weeks as daniel 9.25 shows we may extend time !!!.

  Sitting by the light of my candle and my computer screen, and though we are 1000s of miles apart, i feel a sort of communion on this passage from one arbitrary time frame to a new one. The days are getting longer up here in the great white north, moving us on to newer and better things.

  Don't blame you. How jws and christians can denounce others for not loving god, when they have never felt the love, of god is beyoond me. If someone experienced gods love, they would definitely know it. It wouldn't be on the level of being hit by lightening, but it would be a lot more impacting than any loving/friendly/lust/desire/bonding feelings between any two people on this earth.
