Science and Watchtower's astounding ignorance
by Diogenesister inwell these goof balls at jwbroadcast apparently think the study of pure science means not having any "practical application".
oi vey.
sanderson may speak russian but he is so ill educated he appears to think that researching a subject and formulating a theory about it means that's the end of it - in other words he's saying it has no practical use.

Notice what they claim later in the article. In paragraph 14, in direct contradiction to what they claim on their website, they make this statement, "This means trying to motivate people to make the truth their own by applying what they learn, dedicating their life to Jehovah, and getting baptized. Only then will they survive Jehovah’s day." Doesn't the Bible say something about the outcome of LIARS?

Physical hurts, unless serious, usually heal with little or no long lasting effects. Emotional wounds last forever. I think we need laws against ever raising our voices, even when angry. And of course we must ban ever giving a "dirty look" at anyone, as it may hurt their feelings. The more laws we can make dictating how people must act so we never get hurt in any manner is a wonderful idea. (End sarcasm)
Really I have had a belly full of the nanny state idiots that want to micro-manage every last detail of what should be our private lives. Too damned much like WT for my taste.

NOVEMBER 2 5–DECEMBER 1
Jehovah Loves a Cheerful Giver
At 2 Corinthians 9:7, we are told: “Let each one do just as he has resolved in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” Today we have convenient options to make online donations to support the work of Jehovah’s Witnesses, both locally and worldwide. How can we access the donation information page to find the
donation options that are available in our country? How have some benefited from making donations electronically?
What are some donation methods?
What can we do if we do not understand how to use these new
electronic tools?Of course the VERY BEST alternative is the one I use...NEVER GIVE THESE GREEDY BASTARDS A CENT!

They are Still preaching against careers!
by LongHairGal ini saw on another forum a post somebody made about the melbourne assembly.
it seems the religion is still knocking full time jobs/careers and saving for retirement.. you would think at this point in time - after thousands of bethelites were sent home; many thousands of rank & file jws are at or near retirement age with no preparation - that the religion would change its tune, but no.
they are still stubbornly sticking to their guns on this issue.. i’m sorry for any young jws who listen to this.. i’m just glad i never followed their advice and certainly would not want to be in any congregation surrounded by these desperate people!.

It seems the religion is STILL knocking full time jobs/careers and saving for retirement.
According to WT the ONLY reason anyone gets an education over the barest minimum required to get a lifetime part time job asking, "Y'want fries wit' dat?" is so they can make A LOT OF MONEY and become rich. And the only reason someone wants money is to BE FAMOUS and have prestige in the world.
Sorry b--tards are sure as Hell quick to beg money and free labor from those (we sinners) who have an education or some added finances for a rainy day.

JWs: No Infant Baptism! (just children)
by neat blue dog inhere's a new article that came out:.
do jehovah’s witnesses baptize infants?no.
the bible does not endorse infant baptism.
-
FedUpJW
As children grow, they may in time choose to be baptized. However, to do so, they must understand the commitment they are making.
So why does the WT discourage teen marriage? Surely if a child is old enough to make a commitment to a church that can never be nullified except under threat of losing ones family and friends they must be old enough to marry!

Did You Ever Get Hit On By An Elder?
by minimus inthe organization stresses to elders to be careful with members of the opposite sex.
never be alone with a sister whether it be in field service or paying a visit by means of a shepherding call.
do you know of any elders that flirted or were overly “touchy” with females?

To this day I will never understand how this ugly elder could’ve ever bedded anyone else other than his beautiful wife.
Many years ago my ex-wife happened to pass me in the grocery store with her new fellow. He could fit your elder description to a tee. She had the lack of intelligence to ask me, "So, what do you think about "Joe"?" I told her, "He must be hung like a horse. There is nothing else that any woman would find attractive!" HA!
