The Bible speaks of the "Unforgivable Sin" ? What is it ?

do any jehovah`s witnesses or ex jehovah`s witnesses even know what that sin is ?.

why is such a statement in the bible if its not identified what that sin is ?.

were the authors of the book just playing with peoples heads ?

Personal belief is that unforgivable sin is one for which you have no remorse, no guilt feeling, hence no repentance, no contrition.

And the only way to have any of those feelings is to crawl to the "loving" eldurrs, give them second-by-second description of your sin, then somehow manage to weep and gnash your teeth. Then after they boot your butt out of the congregation you need to continue to show up for the mental abuse for at least a year, and eat your shit sandwich with a smile, then IF they let you back in you must continue to crawl and kiss ass for another only god knows how long. If you do not do all those things you must have committed the "unforgivable sin".

I guess the governing body's Bible does not contain John 3: 16

These people don’t know what boundaries are and are not acquainted with the phrase ‘none of your business’.

In several (U.S.) states, in a dozen congregations, I have seen that to be 100% accurate. No boundaries, zero respect for a persons privacy, matching the description condamned in their own Bible, "They also learn to be unoccupied, gadding about to the houses; yes, not only unoccupied, but also gossipers and meddlers in other people’s affairs, talking of things they ought not."

And then they have the temerity to criticize anyone who does not accept that kind of intrusive B.S.

even some democrats are advocating for reopening society, and are at least hoping for some point in 2021, but the governing body just announced that they're canceling the assemblies in 2022 as well, aiming to restart in 2023. .

they're really milking this 'pandemic', because as soon as things go back to normal that sense of urgency will start to die again, and publisher counts / meeting attendance will go down as well.

i wonder how many jws are suffering form (additional) depression from this as well, because with meetings, assemblies and conventions at least you could see and meet new people, as well as socialize.

I respectfully disagree. Where I live they never let an opportunity pass by to "remind" people that the KH still has expenses and as such "make sure to show your appreciation to Gee-HO'-Vuh by remembering to make your online donations." The money taken in usually far exceeds the normal empty building monthly expenses, so there is if anything a surplus going into their coffers.

How Many Masks Will You Wear?

there are recommendations that we should start doubling up on masks.

some have even suggested that tripling masks would even be better!

He literally had 4 masks on and I don’t think he could properly breathe.

And THAT is the plan. Too many people beginning to just live life, so now there has to be a plan to slowly suffocate people. I guess I don't mind though, as anyone foolish enough to buy into the multiple mask malarkey deserves to suffocate IMO.

As for me, NO MASK.

It just shows you can still get the vacs and STILL GET THE VIRUS.

And that is why even after all the hype about a "vaccine" being the silver bullet to beat the virus we are now being told by the "experts" that we must continue living life as slaves to the government mandates. Wear a mask, even in your own home in some areas I have heard. Continue to secularly disfellowship our fellow citizens, do not have more than 6-10 people in your home if they are nor members of your own household, and on and on and on and on for the rest of out lives.

The "vaccine" was NEVER about peoples health or opening up countries and economies, it was ALWAYS a tool to ratchet the government control ever tighter!

Phone witnessing and the Year Book

when the “year book” is published online next year, and the number of new baptisms is roughly the same as it always is, how are they going to deny that their new “converts” are nothing more than born-in kids of witnesses or already “captive” family and friends?.

the “billions” of hours of service are at best pointless and ineffective and at worse often fabricated.. what say you?.

They will have the same text for each letter, so all they have to do is print it, address the envelope, and post it. Takes no time at all.

Au contraire mon ami.

First they need to zoom in at 8:45 A.M. to visit, drink coffee and at 9:00 A.M. have their "meeting" for serve-us and get the days marching orders. Then they need to yak with each other for maybe twenty or thirty minutes about how many letters they have written, are writing, and going to write. Then go to the kitchen and get another cup of coffee. Then read the letter that they wrote months ago and have been running off on the copier, just to refresh their memory. Then make the first copy for the morning. Then re-read it and sign it. Then print the envelope. Then get a second cup of coffee. Then put the postal stamp on the letter. Then yak some more for "break" with their zoom group. Then repeat the entire process two or three more times. By then it is noon. Grab a sandwich and go to the post office to place it in the mail. Go home. 1:00 o'clock and an easy four hours serve-us time.

The difference between the ministry examples and reality

it seems to me that there is a world of difference between the textbook 'skits,examples on the platform' ministry and the reality of the door to door work in real life.

surely for a bible study coming into the jw religion and having seen all these perfect examples, to be faced with the bitter truth when they do start knocking on the doors must be really jarring?.

surely they will either conclude that they are rubbish at the ministry or that they have been lied to?.

That was my observation. When the reality at the door was opposite of what was presented at the KH I found that there was always some "loving", experienced eldurr or pious sneer that would happily tell you what you said or did wrong, and what you must say or do to be more successful. Of course the reality was that you could NEVER say or do the right thing to get the results they portrayed. You were a failure. You must do more. You must work harder!
