Good Luck!!!
You'll need it. I don't know if it's any different in the U.S. than it is up here but my girlfriend is 75% Ojibwa. She's been trying to get her status recognized for over 30 years. Her mom was adopted at birth back in the 30's, even though she was a native being adopted by a native family she had her status revoked. There is so much red-tape involved in this whole process that you'll have to assess wether or not it's worth the hassle.

Comedy, no-one beats you Brits. Monty Python's my personal favorite and I've got lotsa tapes of Dave Allen at Large. But if you want to see some real jokes, you should watch our Canadian Parliament sometime.

What If We Are All Wrong?
by SpannerintheWorks inludicrous as it may seem, the watchtower society may be right?...
yeah?
as so much of their doctrines are based on interpretation.. the watchtower society may have interpreted the bible... correctly!

Maybe if they keep fishing around, they may eventually come up with a right interpretation but right now....
Millions now living will never beleive.

JW Roots and their future?
by truthseeker1 ini'm not going to post the whole article, but this was an interesting find i wanted to share with everyone.. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/apocalypse/explanation/amprophesy.html.
i think this is what people will think about jws when they look back at them in 100 years or so, when the movement finally dies out.
its also interesting that all this stuff isn't mentioned in the proclaimers book.

Good Link Truth seeker,
You can definately see how Russell was influenced by Miller. You should read Apocalypse Delayed if you want to explore more about the roots of "the truth".
I think though that in another 100 years, instead of actually disappearing, the witnesses will just evolve into another organization with a whole new 'plan of the ages'.

Lassie,
There's actually a book written that refutes the Bible code. I can't remember it's exact title, but it's in the library on the same shelf as the bible code. Just another guy trying to make a few$$$'s.
I think it's called the bible code exposed... or something like that.
