Blood Young Witnesses

today i uploaded a bit of documentation demonstrating that it is false to say all jehovahs witnesses fully endorse watchtower blood doctrine, and particularly among the young or parents of the young.

I looked at the original article and noticed there was a mention that JW parents were quite willing to authorize transfusions for their minor children - I wonder if any distinction has ever been made between the *nudge wink* you'll-have-to-get-a-court-order-Doctor and outright I'll-sign-the-consent-form-right-now kind of scenarios that might be encountered when dealing with JW parents and their children.

once again we received the may 15th " witness only " wt from our lurking jw friend.

even though i've been out for over 7 years and haven't attended in that long - i never cease to be amazed at the arrogance of this patriarchal man pleasing wt society in it's dismissive attitude towards women .

it's horrible.

I'm sure most of them get over it fairly quickly (the rest are passive aggressive jerks) ... that's probably the origin for the scripture that says not to go to bed angry with each other. LOL

Once I had daughters, knowing how the WTS encourages and cultivates this misogynistic mindset, I knew I had to leave. I didn't want my girls to grow up believing that they had to agree to be a man's doormat in a relationship. I didn't want them to think that they were worth less because they were born without a penis. I honestly don't know how my mother ever got sucked in to this religion and felt it was ok to accept that treatment for herself or her daughters.

when your wife/husband or someone promises to wash the dishes or any other chore and just procrastinates, they need a reminder or sometimes a constant plea or request to do it.

--- please do the dishes, or can you please do the dishes... when they are really lazy about it then you endup asking the request many many times.... when you really want to do the dishes .... you just do it.

you dont need anyone to remind you are ask you constantly to do it.

I'd have to agree that he's either lazy or totally passive aggressive.

I could never quite figure out why Almighty God Jehovah - the one who created all things and who promises to destroy all the wickedness on earth at Armageddon™ - needed puny human janitors (and massive flocks of birds, let's not forget) to clean up after Him. Why not just do a Mr Clean Magic Eraser type thing and get rid of all the built up soap scum in one wipe? But no, he wants the people who have been psychologically traumatized by what they've observed at Armageddon™ to participate in the World Wide Cleaning Work - perhaps to further terrorize them and etch into their brains what their fate can be if they step out of line??

Passive aggressive: sees all the wickedness and corruption, promises to do something about it... but only when he's good and ready. Pray for Jehovah's Day™ to come! Wait On Jehovah™! WTF... frankly it's amazing that more JWs aren't having nervous breakdowns with all the unfulfilled anticipation they've experienced for years.

Does the WTBTS purposely distort the number of anointed remaining?

i am trying to prove or disprove a statement that i read today.

i read a statement by someone that i trust that the wtbts purposely distorts the number of anointed left alive in their reports.. i used to be a jehovah's witness.

i know all of their teachings very well.

Remember, they don't report the number of "Anointed". They report the number of "Partakers", or those who claim to be anointed, because they can't possibly know for sure if someone who claims to be anointed is legitimate or not.

No, just like the Catholic Church will never give up on hellfire. It's one of the things (that includes DFing and the shunning that goes with it) that helps the WTS keep JWs in line.

Really? You mean people won't have accidents, falling out of trees while picking apples, landing on their heads or breaking a leg? Women will stop having babies? I wonder if your hubby needs reminding that according to JW doctrine, human Perfection™ will not be achieved until after the 1000 Year Reign of Jesus. In the meantime, survivors of Armageddon™ - who obviously come through that ordeal completely unscathed and unscratched </sarcasm> - are tasked with cleaning up the mess left behind by Jehovah's battle of Armageddon™. That's right, Almighty God, who has the capacity to cleanse the earth before our eyes, has deemed that it's beneath him to do the post-Armageddon™ clean-up and rebuilding, and has, instead, left that task to puny still-Imperfect™ human survivors of his worldwide genocide of non-JWs, ex-JWs and dirty rotten Apostates™... at least what's left of them after the birds of prey have had their fill of the corpses... with the best jobs, of course, going to those with extensive janitorial and window cleaning experience.

Of course physicians will have a useful skillset in the Paradise™ - especially if they are psychiatrists.
