Geoffrey Jackson's Golden Apple watch INVESTIGATED

i went through the original footage to get a good look at the watch.. from these pictures we can probably say that it is a apple watch and that it has a golden color.

the color on the pin is black, and the band is white, grey, silvery or beige.. .

the pin is in the exact place for it to be a apple watch.. only apple watch edition have the gold color.

I have to wonder, since one has to be approved as an Unbaptized Publisher™ before they can qualify for Baptism™, this screening process will apply to people who wish to be Baptized™, before they even go through the Baptism Questions™ with the Elders™.

I don't see how it would apply to UBM (Unbelieving Mates™) though. They generally don't participate in the Ministry™ and are not considered Ministers™ or even one of Jehovah's Witnesses, per se; though they do have access to children at Meetings™ and at social functions where children are likely present. Parents likely discourage close contact with UBMs anyway.

Why do the GB fear this so much? Is it just money? Or is something else going on?

They are already in dire straits as far as having enough Qualified™ men to serve in the Congregations™, as Elders™, Ministerial Servants™ and Pioneers™.

On top of that, every JW believes themselves to be a Minister™, Ordained™ by virtue of their Baptism™ - it's what they tell Candidates™ during the Baptismal Talk™. So that would require every Baptized™ JW, male and female, who participates in the Door-to-Door™ Ministry™ to undergo the screening process.

People who are child abusers would be disqualified from participating in the Ministry™, where there would be a power differential between them and children with whom they might interact. They could be forbidden to Teach™ from the Platform™, offer prayers at Meetings™, give talks on the Ministry School™ or even give answers at Book Study™ or Watchtower Study™, etc. because there are children present at these Meetings™ who might view these individuals as wholesome association.

A screening process like this would cost each individual a nominal fee - it's about $50 where I'm from. It could be bloody expensive for a family that includes five Baptized™ members.

10 Another way the Bible helps us is by giving counsel on how to treat those of the opposite sex. (Read 1 Timothy 5:2.) Such counsel clearly rules out flirting. Some may view the use of body language, gestures, and glances that have romantic overtones as harmless in that these do not involve any physical contact. What also bugs me is that elders had knowledge that allowed them to protect their children, but did nothing to protect other children in the congregation.

This is precisely the way things went down in my case. A so-called Repentant™ child molester (of his own daughters, no less) was DF'd and then Reinstated™. His victim of choice were teenagers, and one of his daughters was about the same age as me. So they let the guy back in, not once, but twice, and in this instance, the Elders™ decided that their own daughters deserved to be kept away from this predator, and instead assigned him to the Congregation Book Study™ in my parents' home. My dad was a mere Ministerial Servant™ at the time, and therefore not privy to the Confidential™ goings-on of the Judicial Committee™ that DFd and Reinstated™ this man. The very first Meeting™ he attended there, he pretended to hug me, in front of a dozen people. His back was to the group in an archway by the front door, and as he held me, he implored me "Don't leave Jehovah, like K... did," and fondled my left breast.

When it finally occurred to me, many years later, the behind-the-scenes decision-making process that allowed the Elders™ to think it was perfectly acceptable to throw me under the bus like that, I was absolutely livid. I've never felt so betrayed in my life.

I watched Mr. Jackson last night with my super cult minded parents

i have seen some ask on this site how the active jw's are handling what is happening in australia.

here is my little experience from last night........ my parents were baptized in the late 30's as children and have never faltered in their determination to survive the great tribulation and live forever in paradise (even though they actively associate with all their df'ed kids).

my father is still actively serving as an elder and my mother has always been by his side.

Sad that your parents couldn't see the poo that was spewing from GeeJay's mouth. But good on you for keeping it classy. At their ages, to come to that realization would have shattered their world, and that's really all they have.
