  Would The Society Ever Lie To You?

  after reading about how we now have an increase in the lord's organization, i must wonder whether we think that their data is reliable.

  the society has used "theocratic stratergy" for years and lied about anything that is in their best interests.

  why take any stock in what they say about anything.

  Opinions on Christian Churches and tithing 10% inc

  i saw the thread on tbn, and felt this question was a good one to pose to the board.. .

  tithing is being preached more and more in many christian denominiations.

  a chrisitian is under obligation before anything else to give 10% of gross income to the church.

  I am simply my son's 'dad'

  one of our neighbours had a nasty car accident (but was ok) and had to leave earlier to get the train to work.. she brought her daughter round in the morning as angharad had agreed to take her to school with our two and she is in dylan's class (our youngest).

  she is absolutely gorgeous and her and dylan are inseperable.

  he got into trouble last week for fighting (he's three and a bit) but we have since found out that the lad he pushed over had been picking on his little friend (that's my boy .

  Take heart old son, I have four, my youngest(stepson) is 17, BUT I have TWO grandchildren, Savannah (3) and Cammeron (11 mths). So as you can see, it all starts again !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Being ' Grandad ' is as much fun as being ' dad ' with the advantage that you can give them back when you are tired !

  The fun is just beginning old sport !

  What's sex?

  imagine when the earthly resurrection will begin, and maybe 20 billion people who lived in the past will have a second chance to live eternally, but this time without sex (luke 20:35).

  having to live an eternal life without having the passion of love, and no sex whatsoever.

  how would you cope with this?

  No sex ? OK but you will have the privalege of cleaning up the mess after armageddon, quick building new houses, planting gods perfect garden, cleaning up the poop of the animals, going to meetings to help instruct the resurected ones who have never heard of the WT, gathering food, cleaning fallen leaves etc........................SHEESH theres just NO PLEASING YOU GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Islam is based on the ' Old Testement', the difference between it and fundimentalist Christianity, is no difference at all.

  i've seen people claim on the web that emails aparently from them have been faked.

  yes, sounds reasonable.

  in fact, i've had emails faked to look like they are from me and we've recently seen one made to look like it was from silentlambs.. however, as with any claims on any subject, there will be those who make the claims for other reasons.

  i'm not surprised @ a lot of the anti-semitic, or borderline anti-semitic statements on this site lately, as the jw's bash the jews almost as bad as the catholics, so that is part of our basic programming being raised jw.

  also, if you look at there publications, the "bad jews" i.e.

  saducees & pharisees have your typical hooknose, hitlerian "dirty jew" look about them, while jesus & friends usuallly look aryan.
