  Is Jesus God....a trinity/triune question.

  ok, jesus refers to god as his father.

  jesus also refers to himself as god saying they are one.

  john 14 can i have some other opinions on this.

  dealing with shunning

  i had a nonreligious email that was just cute and funny and sent it to everyone i considered a friend.

  some were witnesses.

  one gal, sara, sent me a letter of reply.

  i have seen it referred to many times but i still don't what you all are referring to.

  i have heard different things.

  did the wts try to get the bill passed to have all religions banned to try to fullfill one of their prophesies?

  Who should and who shouldn't?

  i should get alot of different oppinions here but that is what i want.

  i was looking up who should partake of the bread and wine, and who should conduct bible studies.. in the bible, jesus does the last supper with his apostles.

  some people call them saints now or annointed ones.

  from all replies and my own understanding this is what conclusion i came up with.

  in the history of the bible, the first part of the bible makes up stories to describe to all how god thinks, feels, and how he runs his people.

  everytime they have formed a religious group, even taking them far away from all other religions (wilderness), they have failed from human error.

  they all have the american flag, crosses, and symbols.

  if i go to the kingdom hall i will just get shunned and i do need association.

  my husband won't let me take my son to a church.

  there are a lot of great sites on this message board but so i don't miss any, would you post them here.

  i would like to construct a few emails to show people just what its like in the org.

  even some sites that show a perspective from someone other than a witness.

  Are just Jehovah's Witnesses the choosen people?

  why is it in the bible that it does say that jesus said to take the bread and the wine in the last supper, but he doesn't say its restricted only to the 144,000 going to heaven?

  he was talking to his apostles of course, so does that mean only the elders, and anointed should do this?

  i have looked in the bible on who should and shouldn't do this and have found nothing.

  only our congregation has corruption?????

  i have this disfellowshipped witness that comes to my door about everyday now.

  she seems to think the congregation here is the only one that is corrupt.

  she writes to the society and gets no response, she emails and has her letters returned (she doesn't know about the email blocks), she has tried to talk to the elders and they turn her away.

  Shunning and then saying its a loving thing to do?

  i realized the bondage i was under as one of jehovah's witnesses and left the organization.

  it pressed fear, paranoia, and even anger in me that i wasn't used to.

  i started to resent being one.
