i need help with writing an article regarding vaccinations, organ transplants, and blood transfusions.. i am doing my research using limited amounts of non-wt sources and mostly just the actual wt literature.. what i am having a hard time understanding is:.

most of the articles in the golden age, at least at the beginning of the anti-vaccination stance, are actually written by contributors.

since there are very pro-vaccination articles and then lots of anti-vaccination articles, how can i determine the actual wt viewpoint on vaccinations?.

just recently my daughter ask for permission to get baptized.

not knowing the mess that my wife's religion is, i consented.

after a lot of research, i now regret my decision.

I got my money back

i posted a question here after i sent packages to my jw niece and nephew in december.

i wasn't sure what the response would be.

yesterday, i got an email that the packages were "undeliverable," and my money was refunded.

The fact that you are being delt with like this even though you were never baptized is astonishing. it shows you how far their rehtoric has shifted to one side, in order for people to make the slow removal of family justified in their minds.

i just thought of something: considering that from 2013 onwards, it seems, there won't be a watchtower library cd, and everything will be online, and therefore every trace of "old light" can be deleted with the push of a button.... .

is there a way to download a copy of the entire jw.org webstite, and keep a "certified copy" somewhere, like archive.org?.

perhaps this can be done monthly or every quarter or something.... .

I am pretty sure electronic archives that are available and owned by some on this very site are pretty extensive.

have you seen the jw child who grows up to be the ideal product of the cult from its point of view, and presumably from its indoctrinated parent's point of view?.

that young person is a weirdo !!!.

i can think of a number like this, still a minority fortunately, in that most of the ones i watched grow up either left or did not embrace the thing anywhere near 100%.. but those one-hundred-percenter kids are something to behold !.

Sure I was weird for a bit. The nice thing is that I figured out I didn't want to stay weird, so i started thinking and just having the courage to be me. It led me inevitably to my exit. Now I'm cool as a cucumber. (Unless that is something the kids don't say now a days in which insert cool substitute here)

That game was fantastic. I bleed blue. Charger fan.

I think we have a legit shot against Cinn tomorrow. I'm hoping it warms up a bit over there for our guys. We get 350 days of sunshine a year down here in San Diego.......so we no lika da cold.

well, had a loooooooong conversation with the missus again after being accused of being overly critical of the borg.. .

i stated that i thought the borg was marvellous, full of really good people, (in our experience, it has been so far), but that i had difficulty with the dogmatic stance we had on certain issues that we couldn't possibly be sure about, and that if i were to vocalise any of these issues and unrepentantly not change my thinking, then i could be df'd for that, which i view as an unloving bullying tactic.

organ transplants, vaccinations, (jah will resurrect, don't worry), new understandings of the fads and generations etc... particularly the thought that only jw's will be saved.

Daniel! I am sorry to hear how that went. Don't give up on her man. Really take your husbandness to the next level. Make sure she knows how much you love her and how unconditional that is.

She has no scriptural grounds to separate from you according to the WT, so she is "stuck" with you. I know that is not ideal, but the threat to separate is empty. Don't test it, just tell her that it hurts you when she says those things, because nothing she could do would make you stop loving her.

Your love is UNconditional. Hers is CONditional. Help her see that without telling her.
