  Harry you said nuts. Reality always hurts jws. Fantasy is hard to reconcile with real facts but what is an unemployed 40 year old to do. Hearing sex stories from hot 14 year olds is oh so much fun plus the gbs stamp of approval. Alas if only no touchy Nathan and Freddie were here now . How proud they would be.

  DNC I so agree the bible was canonized by the holy Catholic Church. The jws I think only address this a couple of times in 135 years. Their was no bible in the first century as we know it. Unlike the mention of the faithful and discreet slave isn't it up to 17,000 thousand times in the watchtower cd.

  by 'actively vocal', i do not mean openly criticising the articles and pointing out the inconsistencies or flipflops (not footwear, reversals).

  i do mean letting people know that you're finding it hard to understand the new truth, and the fact that there is therefore old truth, or falsities, (is that a word?

  it is now), therefore if there are falsehoods (that's the word, of course), then that puts into doubt the extent of jah's involvement in the preparation/dissemination of it all... (and making it clear you're not saying they aren't gods prophets on earth, just that you're not sure, don't know).. the reason i ask is cos i'm finding it hard to completely fade without an external reason.

  Sorry cb it doesn't matter what you say. You are gonna get it one way or another. Number one sign of a cult is their is no honorable way to leave. You are either in or out make a choice or lie and fade quietly still you are going to lose family and friends just not as many.

  i will not get into details as far as defending my position, just know that when reviewing his letter he does not have all the facts.

  which now, i plan to go thru, if he is willing.

  i started a letter to him and then i decided to call because i do not want the aftermath of everything being in writing.

  Mum is right I had the jw mentality in the reverse I was right they are cult members. Questions that are asking for help are much better than statements to prove them wrong. They are turtles that go inside their shells. Once there they will never come out until you are gone.

  3. the watchtower, november 1, 1995, p. 8 the foremost angel, both in power and authority, is the archangel, jesus christ, also called michael.. can i obtain hard copies or scanned copies/electronic format for my records?.

  If you don't mind me asking how old is he? I think it is relavent in that younger people may be more open to things. My first response would be to ask what real truth you have left and maybe mention some of the old real truths that have been proven as old lies but of course don't say that. Be prepared once I told my sister about old "truth" the conversation ended and would not get a text or call returned.
