  hi, it's been a while since i posted.. circuit assembly program 2003-2004.

  theme: rejoice in the hope.

  endure under tribulation - romans 12:12. nothing special about this circuit assembly this time round, in fact, it was very boring.

  Thanks for posting this! My old congregation is having their Circuit Assembly this week.

  I cry tears of happiness knowing that I am not sittng amongst them being bored stiff!

  Welcome to the Forum! Many of us have been where you've been. I was just there and I finally got the courage to say "No more meetings!" in August, 2003. We all have to do it at our own pace. Hopefully, you'll find the support you need right here @ JWD.

  i don't know what eles to call it , i guess it is the user name....lol.......so what does yours mean?.

  i think awhile back i might have asked this,,,,,,,but it was way back and so many new ones here that i am just getting to know, and ones who came in here while i was not here as much.

  there may be a thread on this in the last recent months, i am not sure,,,,if so, if there are any new ones who want to tell why they choose their user names,,,,,please do.. i will tell you why my name is lyineyes,,,,,many have asked me that here lately.

  one great thing about children is that they are survivors, and they learn how to adapt to changes very quickly.. so the next stage of my life (11-15 years old) was really were i came to fully realize that this was it.

  Well, I got some good things out of the JW religion:

  You, flower, Nikita, DIM, Cherie, Dana, Olive, Michaelina, and others. We all have been through that same fire and now we're all friends (out of the Borg) and we will forever have that common bond.

  I spent most of the time just trying to beat the heat and boredom by imaging I was Mike Schmidt or Greg Luzinski standing at the plate waiting for pitches to hit over the fence.

  CLASSIC!

  Ah! I remember those 70's/80's years myself at the hot "Vet". I hated the Vet for coneventions! Hot. Boring. Lame.

  I was a 300 level guy because you could get shade for most of the day.

  I can't wait for the rest of your story which will no doubt contain stories of "Demons vs. badwillies-JW-family" and "Breakdancing in the Kingdom Hall".

  I Got A Job

  started last week sunday, sorry for the delay in posting.. the downside is that it's only 3 days a week.

  but i'm still continuing to look for a better job.. my landlord moved me to a studio apt which is 300 dollars a month with still all utilties paid.

  it's an ok apt, not too shabby.

  Latest Book Study

  at this weeks book study (which i attended for the first time in 6 months) the book is "united in worship of the only true god".

  in paragraph 10 it talks about the united nation's, and not in any glowing terms either.

  the paragraph condemns her and anyone who would be a part of her.

  I think you have made a couple of errors.

  The book currently being studied is 'WORSHIP THE ONLY TRUE GOD'.

  Paragraph 10 reads,

  "Does the historical record show hat any group in the last days has pursued strict neutrality in imitation of the early Christians? Yes, Jehovah's Witnesses have done so. All during this time period, they have kept preaching that God's Kingdom is the only means to bring lasting peace, prosperity, and happiness to lovers of righteousness. (Matthew 24:14) But with regard to controversies among the nations, they have maintained strict neutrality.

  By no means am I a defender of the WT, but facts are facts. Granted, I do not go to any meetings but I am basing my information based on the book that my wife uses for the book study each week.

  Please clarify.
