It seams that my post may have been slightly misunderstood. I'll try and explain better.
"Evolution is not the answer to most of the important questions about life and how it got here."
What I am saying is that many people exept evolution as the means humans arrived on earth ,while I'm not arguing about that here, what I'm doing is looking at were did consciousness and the matter of the universe come from.
Maybe consciousness just comes from a certain configuration of atoms, I don't know, and nor does anyone else, so the question , the most important I feel, still remains , as without consciousness humans are nothing.
"If current evolutionary ideas are true they only tell a very small part of the story.
Simply how random changes to animate and inanimate things can be mechanicly selected by sutible enviroments and prosper in them."
What I am saying here is that evolution just describes a process , it doesn't tell us why the universe exists or the laws that hold it together , which I feel are more fundemental issues.
There is still lots about us and the universe to explain.
So the point is that there is lots to learn , we dont have any of the answers yet to the major questions about the universe and what it is and where it came from.
Some people confuse understanding evolution with this.
