  The Queens mother.

  its sad that any one should die ,but when i hear all the crap in the british news about how great this queens mother was it makes me think of the witness brian washing, except on a national scale.. now i didn't care much about diana either , but this is the queen mother who installed a secret telephone line so that charles could phone his mistress.how quickly people forget.this is also the woman who call wallece simpson the "lowest of the low" .. any way this woman apparently arranged her own funeral.now if she is so nice and loving how come she arranged a funeral that is going to cost this country millions of pounds.of course the nhs doesn't need this money!.

  just in one day 6000 police officers were used .imagine how much that cost and how much they were needed to fight crime.. i suppose crime doen't need fighting when youre such an amazing person.

  We once played a game were you had two sides who had to draw a bible scene the first dide to guess it right wins that round.
  When it was my turn to draw , I had to draw jesus , I wanted to win so I thought the quickest way was to draw him on a cross.

  I think every one thought I was Satans personnal agent or something ,I won the round though.

  in the back of the nwt,1981 edition, its says that job was written 1473 b.c.e on the plains of moab by moses.. how was it possible for moses to write the book of job on the plains of moab when the exodus happened about 1446 b.c.e.

  during tuthmosis 111 or his son's reign?.

  (the israelites were still in egypt in 1473!).

  has any one here ever been hypnotised?.

  i'm intrested in whether there is a link to repetative meetings and book studies and hypnotism.. hypnosis is defined as a "sleep like state in which people are open suggestion and will act how they are told to.".

  can this wok over a long term period , such as the years in the "truth' or only on a short term basis like in a hypnotists show?.

  If this is true it fits in with this, I posted A while back,

  Highest percentage of sexual perverts are church goers.
  A report in the Daily epress in Great Britian today states,
  "Up to three quarters of sex offenders are regular members of church congregations and religious groups, the Victoria Climbie* inquiry was told yesturday.
  Church leaders fear the figures have been inflated by peadophiles using congregations as a hunting ground for children.
  They warned the hearing into the eight year olds murder that children who attend places of worship need greater protection.
  David Pearson, director of the church Child protection advisory service, accused some churches of offering "lax and irresponsible" care for vulnerable youngsters.
  Churches therefore should be at the forefront of child protection and many have highly developed child protection policeies"

  *Victoria Climbie was a girl tortured and murdered by her guardians who were said to be deeply religious.

  If this report is accurate then it seems perverts are using churches as hunting grounds.
  The society should be taking the lead in providing child protection if in deed it is the true religion.
  Instead can it be described as one of those that is "lax and irresponsible"?

  I had belived that peadophiles were no bigger an issue in the Witness organisation than anywhere else.
  But it seems that churches are a special target for sexual preditors.
  This means that people join religions with the purpose of abusing children.Apparently peadophiles are very cunning and manipulative.
  I have heard on the news before how they seek out jobs that involve looking after children and will play along for years in their chosen role , not raising any suspicion.
  But for three quarters to belong to churchs seams like a very high figure bigger than those who may be working in child care or other places with children.
  Would peadophiles have knowledge that the witnesses are paricularly lax when it comes to protecting children?
  Could this make kingdom hall a bigger target for them?

  just another thread to find out the popular opinion on what happened to the dinosaurs.there are several popular theories such as meteor shower ,super volcanoes or solar flares i'm open to any and all theories or new findings .personally i go with the meteor shower one .the dinosaur represents the most successful time in the history of our planet where life flourished for untold millenium only to become extinct seemingly over night.any opinions are welcome ,thank you for any participation.

  Is The Governing Body EVIL?

  i am going to stick my neck out and postulate that the gb is not evil .

  nor is the watchtower society as a whole.

  i'm sorry this got a little long but please accept the challenge and show me wrong.

  These are just some ideas of mine, I not saying they are true just things to consider.

  Maybe one day the idea of people being evil will be relegated to the dustbin as an explanation of why people do "bad" things.
  Just like God for an explanation of why the universe exists or "its all in the head" for why people suffer from strange illness.
  Of course you can label peoples actions as having evil or bad effects.
  Also we all do things we feel we shouldn't have done , and could have stopped ourselves , but could we?
  Can we say that a person is Evil? What does this mean?
  Are animals that eat their offspring Evil? Well I would say no.
  Human obviously are different to other animals, we have a mind to think and don't rely on instinct. Or do we?
  How do we know when we are really making a choice?
  Maybe we cant make choices like we think we do.

  A lot of recent research points to damage and abnormalities in Brain structure as the cause of many of mankind's quirks and strange actions.
  Stimulation to the frontal lobes can cause euphoria and religious convictions in many people. Damage to certain areas can cause loss of emotion. Some people feel no pain.
  The brain is only just opening up to research. We may find that or personalities and habits are largely caused by our varying brain structures.
  Also the fact that just giving your bodies different chemicals can drastically alter how you act how you feel and what you do, gives reason to question how much of what we do we actually had independent control over. Just drink some alcohol and see what it does.There are lots of different chemicals used by our bodies to control us.To much or too little of some can have big effects on your personality.
  
  This does not rule out the idea of free will, or accountability but does have a bearing on whether certain people are evil , i.e. .chose to do bad instead of good, or whether these people think in a different way due to slightly different brain structure and chemical make up.

  If the governing body is evil do they know it?
  If they don't this raises other questions. How do we know when we are doing evil things? If they are Evil men and know it then why do they do it? Are the gains really worth it? What kind of satisfaction can a Governing body member really get from doing what he does? Is it really worth the restricted life they have to lead.
