if there god is supposed to be the all-powerful, backing their organisation fully, men being led by god's spirit etc, then what of the lack of activity within china which has in excess of a billion inhabitants?
is their god not partial to the chinese?
what of india also?
And how will a witness try and prove he has the truth?

Well if you dont included China, most of India, N.Korea and all the Moslem countries which in total makes half of the worlds population,they may have a point.
But last time I looked the world did included all these.

When I first started taking the witness religion seriously , when I was about 17 ,a pioneer brother who I was working with asked me "would you do anything God asked?"
I said "no , only if it was reasonable."
He said that anything God asked would by definition, be reasonable.
Or in other words , as long as God asks it , its the right thing to do.
I didn't see that as logical then , and that kind of thinking gradualy lead to my leaving.
May witnesses do think the org. is God.
If they think like that brother , then anything they ask must be right, in their minds.

These things may sound stupid , but already witnesses are doing very similair things.
I am shunned , how big a difference betwwen turning away from a person, or spiting at them?
Parents have let their children die, how fine a line between letting people die and killing them?
Maybe there are two camps of witnesses.
Those who believe it because they think its logical and backed up by evidence.If evidence was lacking they would leave.
Those who believe it because they think its Gods word and will do anything asked of them.If evidence was lacking they would strenghten their faith.
Those of the former camp gradualy get here.
The others,are just waiting for new orders.
i decided not to join the witness 3 months ago(for personal reasons) i dont want to join no organization, not either churchs,.
i feel alot better to preach the truth and live by the laws & commandments and survive this last century(last days) by myself, along with my girlfriend... .
i love the witness, they are the only ones, who tell billions the truth.. 40% of my bible(kingjamesversion) information, i got from the witness, the rest i learn by myself, thanks to jehovah(yahweh) & the wonderful armageddon messiah(king jesus)...but i feel kinda alone on the internet going around helping and preaching jehovah'god & jesus word, because as it is written, in the last century, millions will turn away from the truth- 2 timothy chapter 4 verse 2 .

I do care , even though no longer a part, as it's shadow looms large over my life.
Do I want children growing up as witnesses, people giving up jobs and friends to join this religion?
I would like people in general , to be more broadly educated so they could see through stupid religious systems on their own.
But that is more difficult to achieve.
So I would like to see the watchtower publicly expossed as a fraud.
And I would like to see it shut down as a major player on the world scene.

do we apostates fall into the same trap as jehovahs witnesses when it comes to blinding ourselves to the truth?.
how often have i confronted jws with overwhelming evidence that the so called signs of the times are simply not being fulfilled in our day only for them to bring up some barely relevant snippet of information, which, to them, shoots my argument down in flames?
it is incredible how jws can ignore the camel of evidence that contradicts what they believe and then exult over the gnat of evidence that supports their view.
Actually I do think there is a good possibility of the WTBS falling.
Ok they have got past other crises before, but there are other points to consider.
By and large people , especially in the western world are getting more educated.Plus information is more widly available.
This means less new converts (Bible studies can now look on the internet for example).
Children who grow up as witnesses are not sticking to it , and most of the ones that do are not very "strong" or "Zealous".
Most new witnesses are children of witness parents.
The current downturn will hinder thr future potential growth.
Although numbers have grown again after other failiures , 1975 etc , they still had the "this generation , not pass away" etc card to play , they could still scare people with time of the end is near and all that.
The new Millennium has passed without much incident.The year 2000 was a focal point for many doomsday prophets and a focus in peoples minds.
That barrier has now been broken, and I feel there much less fear in general about the world ending.
The whole focus of the witnesses is on 1914 and time prophecies, when it becomes so obvious that no Armageddon is coming in the expected time frame , many more of the older ones will become dishartened , effecting in turn the young.
Of course some will keep their faith through anything, but as a organisation the WBTS is heading for a fall.
