I wasn't going to go to Dallas. I was on the fence cause I hate to fly and also cause I was worried about what would happen if I was "caught" in some way seeing as how I'm inactive.
Well!!! After considerable pressure to attend, I relented. I'm SOOOOO glad that I did. I met some of the coolest, mostest wonderful people ever!! It's 5 months later and I've been so pumped to see everyone again this coming weekend.
XenaWarrior is one of the nicest, most hospitable person that I've ever met and she'll make you feel like it's your own home you're visiting. Shes taken alot of time to make this fun and worry free and trust me, when she puts herself into a project, SHE PUTS HERSELF IN!!! It should be a perfect blast!!!!!!! Make sure you email XenaWarrior with your menu choice for the dinner Saturday night, I think she needs to know by Wednesday. Prime Rib, Breast of Chicken Piccata and Broiled Red Snapper. Rumor has it that here maybe Wallabee there too . Oh and if you have the pleasure of staying the night, maybe if you are good, XW will make us all egg circles!!!!
There will be plenty of alcohol to go around (if that's your thing) to fill the Slippy Cup and I hope that you will come and share a hug, a drink with me and a very good time.

i know i probably go too far sometimes and can get a little 'determined' on some issues (my wife calls it pig headed & stubborn).

I think it's been pretty obvious (at least to me ) that I don't post here anymore for various reasons, one of which was the war stuff (aside from pimping the Green Bay Cheesehead Apostafest ).
However, I would like to say this: I will be forever grateful to both you and Anghard for your hard work, dedication, time, money, effort and seemingly very thick skin on this site. Without this site, I would not be as free of the Witnesses as I am today. I would not have met so many special people, formed friendships and just generally had a good time on the Internet for the last couple of years.
I have often thought about what a thankless job this must really be even considering the many that are truely appreciative such as myself. I am in IT and no matter how many people thank me on a daily basis, I still get worn down by the constant bitching and nagging of the others that are having computers problems and "blame" me. I don't know how you have done it this long.

abaddon and i were having a discussion in another thread regarding the differences between us patriotism and european patriotism.
apparently some people consider the us to be peopled with rabid flag waving, my country right or wrong, ugly americans.

it's weird that, 11 years after getting df'd,and 8 years after vowing to never go back, i still kind of felt guilty toasting my birthday with my friends.
i am a hell of a lot closer, though, to feeling no shame at all, and a lot of you are to be credited with my freedom......... .
