  Judging as bad association now....or at the Great Tribulation....or both!

  reading posts where some have commented on how their parents, children or other relative have cut off all association with them because they do not agree with the teachings of the wtb&ts.. think about it.

  jw's teach that if you aren't one of them, you will be destroyed.

  so from a jw perspective, their df or da or inactive adult child or relative or friend, is eventually going to be destroyed and die.. on the other hand, jw's teach that god and christ have not yet started the process of separating the sheep and the goats.

  so, this week on the clm there was an interesting comment at our kh.. under the "apply yourself to the field ministry" portion this week, there was the bible study assignment based on the publication: who are doing jehovah’s will today?

  published in 2016. the material was from lesson 28 "what can be found on our website?

  there is a footnote at the bottom that reads: .

  from the time i was a young pioneer, i wondered why jw’s could not accept when a householder offered to exchange literature with us /me.

  i just couldn’t picture jesus being afraid of what another might argue.

  obviously, paul was familiar with other religions.

  child abuse hidden not reported.. "in one case involving two boys, she said she failed to report the incident “because it had all stopped, and they were serving jesus, and i found out about it way later.” she also said that “because of ministerial confidentiality, i don’t have to.”.

  Are Jehovah's Witnesses Saved by Grace...Undeserved Kindness?

  there was a time that one could, if they dug deep enough, come up with the answer that jw’s teach that one is “saved” by grace or the nwt preferred “undeserved kindness.” for instance, in the reasoning book p. 360 under the heading “salvation” there is a sub-heading under the section, “if someone says”: ‘are you saved?’ here is what it says you could say if someone asks, “are you saved?’ you might reply: ‘so far, i am.’…….

  the conclusion being, you are saved right now.

  and yes, you need to remain faithful, but you are right now in a saved state.

  How do you feel about the Red Letters?

  curious as to how you feel about the actual words ascribed to jesus in a red letter edition translation bible like niv on biblegateway.com?.

  do you feel these teachings are inspired and or beneficial to a productive life?

  it seems to me that the actual words of jesus contain real wisdom and show how to live a fulfilling life.

  Why doe New light tick me off???? Next 2 weeks WT Studies

  if you have been a jw for 20+ years you may remember that the wt went into great detail on different illustrations that jesus used and the "type/anti-type" ridiculous explanations.

  remember the revelation book and how those obscure jw conventions of the past pictured big things in heaven and the opening of seals?

  anyway, the wt lessons for the next two weeks do two big things for me.
