If the slave was tasked with providing "meat in due season," does that mean that it was Jehovah's intention to mislead the faithful for decades?

Identifying the Faking and Deceitful Slave
by Sea Breeze injehovah's witness founder, c. t. russell claimed to be the mouthpiece of god (zion's watch tower 1906 jul 15 p.230), later the organization he left behind claimed to be god's mouthpiece.
scripture is adamant that the word of god only applies to jesus christ and no other.
they claim to be the "mouthpiece" of god like jesus, and that the time is near.

Trump 'spiritual advisor' says Jesus never broke immigration laws
by SydBarrett inpaula white said, βyes, jesus did live in egypt for three-and-a-half years.
but he was not an illegal immigrant.
if he had broken the law then he would have been sinful and he would not have been our messiah.β well, there you go.

You think immigration laws on Earth are too strict? Try entering Heaven illegally.

JW Vaccine mandate: The contrast between voices of reason and confusion
by ukpimo ini was reading an intriguing post on the exjw reddit, a forum i do not with to sign up for, as i'm not interested in the internal politics of reddit.
https://www.reddit.com/r/exjw/comments/1hwlja8/the_governing_bodys_letter_that_shook_bethel_and/.
another post counteracted this one, driven by the "conspiracy theory" card.

Nearly every medication will affect some people adversely. This can be due to allergic reactions or other existing conditions (including congenital ones). This is why so many drug commercials have a disclaimer with all of the possible negative side effects. Think of how many of these often include death as a "side effect.''
Rushing out a vaccine to deal with a highly-contagious infection that has a relatively high mortality rate increases the likelihood that there will be adverse reactions, including death. The extent of the rollout also leaves us without an answer to the question of what would have happened otherwise. Lots of people died from COVID. Some may have died from the vaccine. The lack of certainty is where conspiracy theories get their momentum.
We had some people here who appeared to have bought into the idea that COVID and the vaccines were part of a conspiracy to drastically reduce the world's population by killing off billions of people. Time has shown that to be... mistaken. It may be decades more before we learn enough to know just how bad COVID was, and how bad the vaccines were/weren't. Until then, enjoy the conspiracy theories.

Maybe the best question is "DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?!?!?!"

by jwleaks infrom barbara:.
my dear husband, joe anderson, has had very real problems with his short-term memory for at least a year which really worried me.

Is the US a democracy or a republic? Yes
by blondie inhttps://www.npr.org/2022/09/10/1122089076/is-america-a-democracy-or-a-republic-yes-it-is.
throughout our history we have functioned as both.
put another way, we have utilized characteristics of both.

We are a constitutional republic. The USA government was designed as a bottom-to-top structure, where states ran their own affairs and worked together to manage the nation as a whole. The idea was to avoid the risk of too much centralized power. We've been working hard for almost 250 years to undermine that structure, but it has managed to hold up. How much longer remains to be seen.

So... he barely made one hour of video content in a month, and half of that time was spent talking about himself.
It seems like he is going into a cycle of producing as little content as he can will himself to make, then lapsing into a period of self-pity, then trying to talk his remaining supporters out of cancelling their subscriptions. It does not seem as if anyone is paying him for trips around the globe, or offering to fund another holiday. Could this be the beginning of the end?

JohnR1975: He has nothing in his life at all anymore no wonder he has problems with prostitution and drugs.
Prostitution and drugs are the reason he has nothing in his life anymore.
And also that he prefers to blame Kim instead of taking a look in a mirror now and then.

Mark O'Donnell sued by Pennsylvanian congregations over "eavesdropping" virtual meeting between lawyers and elders
by Corney inin a civil complaint filed under seal and unsealed nearly two months ago, 11 congregations accuse the activist of violating federal, pennsylvania and maryland wiretap statutes.
in the course of the ongoing statewide grand jury investigation, all jw congregations in pennsylvania were subpoenaed to produce records pertaining to child sexual abuse.
so, meetings were arranged, county by county, between lawyers and elders on how to deal with the subpoenas.

How can you hide yourself in a Teams meeting? Especially one where you have no administrator access? A click of a button would have shown all of the attendees. Did no one bother to check? I don't doubt that he wanted to remain unnoticed, but I don't see how he could hide himself from the other attendees. Perhaps the elders thought he was with the lawyers, and vice-versa?
I'm not sure what case the WTS has here. They might be successful in getting the video taken down permanently, but how would they calculate damages? I wonder if there is a chance that O'Donnell will win and be able to get his legal fees reimbursed at the WTS's expense?
