watch 1974 p.167 "by disobediently overindulging in food and making a glutton of himself, he fails to show love for jehovah...if in the presence of others does he selfishly ignore there needs and take more than his share?
is he grossly overwieght but shows no restraint at all as to food, habitually gorging himself?
does he feel un-comfortable, perhaps even sick because of eating too much ...glutton has no place in god's congregation...they will not inherit god's kingdom...".

For some reason this just doesn't seem like the WTBTS's way of saying things, you sure this is a direct quote? I noticed "there needs "is spelled wrong, it should be "their needs".. Snoozy, thinking this may have all started out as a joke?
and my spouse is pissed... anyways, we slow boiled chicken to make soup and it was finished last night.
i could not find room in thr frig so i left it out... the good news is our house was around 55-60 degrees all day and night.
is it safe to eat if reheated?
Taco Bell (where I work) is so strict that when prepping food (transfering from bag to bin), you can only take one bag at a time from the cooler, scissors set down during prep must be placed in a little sanitized pot, and only a small cup may be used to take icy cold water from the drink machine to be used to pour a little in each lettuce bin. Must go back and forth for freshly cold water. Meat must be rapidly cooled in between layers of ice before going into the walk in as carry-over. And, food gets discarded regularly throughout the day at set times.
I threw up for hours after eating Taco Bell one time..I suspected the sour cream. I am sure the Taco bell I went to wasn't that clean/careful , they could barely speak english besides.. I Couldn't eat there for years after that. I have a nice clean one by my house now that I go to occasionally..

Well it's been 6 hours..is sinus still alive? or
I remember when camping with the In laws one time and we had a big pot of chili in a cast iron kettle. We put it on the trunk of the car to cool and forgot about it. The next morning my MIL saw it and said...OOps..
The temp was around 60 something that night.
Her and her hubby and my hubby ate it and they were fine..as for me..I refused to eat it..I didn't want ot take any chances, my MIL rubbed that in for years!
But I think they may be in trouble if they ate it according to this:

this morning, i received the following email through my website, watchtowerdocuments.com.
i have no information other than what is stated in the email.
(the information provided in the links has been translated into english.).
From different stores and collectors around the world, we bought magazines and books distributed by the economic-publishing network of the Watchtower, all for use by the Jehovah's witness faithful. We were surprised at the interest shown by the legal team of the Spanish Watchtower office (a VERY IMPORTANT American law office) to turn the purchase of books and magazines in convenience stores and used-book stores, such as e-Bay and todocolección, into an offense, considering the fact that they themselves print millions of copies [of such books and magazines] for distribution
They want to make it illegal to resell the literature?
is that what it is saying?

bob and his family are coming here tonight..
What's that in the road ahead?
What's that in the road, a head?
Snoozy.....who said #2 was correct also.
hello all.... some of you have been following our story from the beginning - and even those of you who haven't should be able to relate to my quandary.... last week my 14 year old son told me he no longer wants to be a jw.
we laboured over telling his jw dad all week.
well, on friday night he finally came clean.. but in a bizarre and unexpected twist, after having sex with his girlfriend for the very first time - in his father's home that very afternoon.
The child has too much time on his hands..he isn't being kept busy enough. I find that true in almost every case of a child having sex/using drugs or alcohol at such a young age. Too much freedom and the parents always working to provide the necessities that they just must have. The child is often left to fend on his own as he is considered old enough to take care of himself. Well this just proves they can't at that age..their brain is not finished growing..they are unable to see anything in the future. They want it now. They can't make important decisions as they aren't mature enough yet. They still need guidance..and supervision! They need to be active in caring for their home, volunteering, cutting grass, sports, anything to keep their minds and body occupied..and too tired to get into trouble! If a parent has to work they should make some kind of arangements for the child so he is not left alone on his own to be bored to the point they resort to having sex to amuse themselves..teach them to be productive in other ways... Encourage a child to have goals and to stick to them..and point out the consequences as realistically as possible..let them watch a neighbor/relative baby..overnight or longer (with a parents supervision)..sit down and go over expenses with them and show how important an education is and how he/she should set goals and what will happen if they fall away from these goals..the low income forever, the substandard living..the constant worry about finances..

i thought this was rather amusing, maybe in my own mind.
i was just getting ready to leave my house with my brothers and a jw walks up to my door.
this was 7 o clock on a sunday mind you.
I am sure the witness was thinking "how Juvenile"..as was I..
Hope you enjoyed it though.. Sometimes we just gotta blow off steam at them..

pride and prejudice abound in the watchtower religion.. i go to the assemblies and it becomes very clear that the speakers are so proud of the fact that their religion is the one true religion and that they are so much better than the other churches out there.
the amount of pride i heard coming from the platform is astounding.
astounding still is the fact that they cannot see it themselves and at one point in time, i could not see it either.
I was just the opposite..I always felt there was just something not quite right about the religion even tho I gave it a fighting chance for 15 years. I just saw how strong every one else felt about it and thought I would eventually be that way too. But really , who could believe the things they teach as truth? Common sense tells you it just can't be right..
I really believe the Bible is past history. I also believe it has been messed up and picked and changed so many times to fit the religion that is using it that you can't trust the majority of it to be accurate..
As someone pointed out the JW religion started out on a whim so to speak by uneducated men. They studied the Bible and interpreted it to suit their teachings..each religion I feel has done that. I do think that all religions have a little truth to them but I also feel they have a lot of fairy tales to them..in other words..I believe maybe a tenth of what they say. JW's included.
It is up to you to decide what you can believe in/can accept and what you can't . But at least you owe it to yourself to feel comfortable with what you have..if it be a JW so be it. If not move on..it's your choice and no one elses..and when you make your choice don't let anyone talk you down for it..it's your life and you owe it to yourself to live it the way you see fit for you!
Best of luck on your journey..
