“Pascal contends that a rational person should adopt a lifestyle consistent with the existence of God and actively strive to believe in God. The reasoning behind this stance lies in the potential outcomes: if God does not exist, the individual incurs only finite losses, potentially sacrificing certain pleasures and luxuries. “

Current light on will die at Armageddon?
by Teddnzo inmy wife zoe and i often talk about her grandmother who has never been a jw but is an excellent christian by other opinions.
she has led such a good life always kind and tried to follow jesus example.
before the agm new light my wife often thought according to current light is that as long as she dies before armageddon she will be resurrected.

Pascal's wager is a philosophical argument advanced by Blaise Pascal (1623–1662)But the new JWLITE idea means you don’t need to sacrifice certain pleasures and luxuries until right at the end of the great tribulation as they now say?So JWLITE is a win win for everyone. Go to meetings occasionally and keep one foot in for all the good things that being physically in offers. But at the same time have all the benefits that being mentally out offers.Don’t need to go door to door anymore and don’t need to listen to the GB as they admit they are not inspired and get things wrong. At the same time I have to say, in defence of the JW cult there are some really great people in it. It’s seems to be a good place to gather truly great people who have high morals and are trustworthy. Also so welcoming and hospitable it’s so great to have good friends all around the world. Very good place to raise a family with lots of good associations. If you are in need the congregation is always there for each other. Far more than any other similar religious group.I also see a lot of benefits of studying the Bible and trying to live by it, if is the word of God or not. -

Vidiot you are right and bear in mind the recent update in the Elders book that says if the publisher says that a judicial committee would make them feel suicidal then it should not happen until they don’t feel that anymore
so someone can avoid being dis fellowship led by just saying it would make them suicidal

My wife Zoe and I often talk about her grandmother who has never been a JW but is an excellent Christian by other opinions. She has led such a good life always kind and tried to follow Jesus example.
Before the AGM new light my wife often thought according to current light is that as long as she dies before Armageddon she will be resurrected. What if she is still alive when Armageddon starts? Then she wouldn’t make it into the new world? This is a bit ridiculous when you think about it as Br Jackson says implying in a sarcastic way that we were all idiots for thinking that. But that is what the official doctrine was.
So what is he saying the new doctrine (sorry light) is? Would Zoe’s grandmother be better off dying before Armageddon or not now this new light has come in?
She is in her 90s and has been C.O.E Christian all her life no way she will ever change into a JW. She has dementia getting worse anyway, so is the new light that people like her would make it if they died before but will still make it or not if still alive ?

Very good predictions there you were spot on.
King of the South UK&USA have sided with the Jews and king of the North Russia&China have sided with the Muslims.
I predict sentiment turning against the Jews with 10 to 1 Muslims dying for every one Jew. But Muslims outnumber Jews by a lot more than 10 to 1. For every 1 Muslim the Jews kill another handful will rise up. For every Muslim the Jews kill they are getting more Muslims to fly to the Middle East from all around the world to join the fight.
There were 1.5 Muslims protesting in London this weekend, which was far larger than any anti forced vaccination protests.
The tide is turning and the mainstream media is losing the Jewish propaganda campaign.
They need some new big event to distract away from the Jews killing Muslims. It has to be a very big black swan event I can only guess what it will be.

JWLITE
by Teddnzo ineven elders can be part of the new jw lite brigade these days.
they don’t need to go on door to door anymore and there is no requirement for anything really.. taking meeting parts is all dead easy you could turn up on the day with zero preparation because it’s all in the meeting workbook.. quarterly elders meetings are just old men having a good old natter just like old men do down the pub.. congregations could be likened to pubs or bars these days just without the drinks, those come at other times.. no need for territory maps, these almost went away with covid letter writing now they are extremely slow getting finished as those who still go door to door only do ten mins.. you could even voice your questions these days about things the gb say and then just say “we can’t be dogmatic we just don’t know”.
i predict they will say this about 1914 soon..

So we can all agree the GB are very very wrong about some things.
This reinforces the new JWLITE idea.
Get the good things about being physically in. Stay mentally out. Give a tick every month that you talked about the Bible to someone at least once a month but never do door to door anymore unless you want to do ten mins once a blue moon.
Go to meetings in person occasionally if you feel like it as it’s cheaper than going to the pub. Keep going to all the social gatherings and join zoom meetings and ministry groups in your pyjama bottoms and slippers with a nice cuppa.
Most importantly ignore all of what the GB say. Openly tell people that the GB are not inspired and they do get things wrong. Quote the GB “we should not be dogmatic we just don’t know”

The entire pint of JWLITE is you take what you like and I gone what you don’t.
this AGM says you can repent last min if you were wrong.
As long as you get more out of JWLITE than you put into it then it’s well worth it.
Some fantastic folks in the congregation and having the basic principles of the Bible makes life even better.
this new lite version means you
rake what you like and leave what you don’t like. Basically ignore the GB, this is the lint of JWLITE😁👏

Here is a thought what if this new JWLITE is by design so that many exJWs come back? Even many on here say ok this new JWLITE is ok as long as we can quote the GB “we can’t be dogmatic we just don’t know”
you don’t shun anyone you don’t want to. You live by Bible standards but you decide and you take everything the GB say with a pinch of salt

With no reporting necessary do they still need a territory guy?
by carla innow that they no longer have to report hours do they still need a territory guy?
maps?
etc...?.

“Thanks, Earnest. What is the reasoning about elders and MS not being required to report time. Perhaps, because auxiliary and regular pioneers, special pioneers, missionaries, circuit overseers and their wives have said to the WTS that they will meet the hour quota attached to each position for a specific number hours, or about, to keep these reviewed positions.”

The elephant in the room is this question-
how are there qualified legal professionals in congregations?
did some come into the cong after they qualified? Very unlikely.
so they must have gone against direction to get qualified?
