Instead of hard fading or even soft fading this JWLITE could be the super soft fade. Where you keep all your family and friends no shunning necessary.

JWLITE
by Teddnzo ineven elders can be part of the new jw lite brigade these days.
they don’t need to go on door to door anymore and there is no requirement for anything really.. taking meeting parts is all dead easy you could turn up on the day with zero preparation because it’s all in the meeting workbook.. quarterly elders meetings are just old men having a good old natter just like old men do down the pub.. congregations could be likened to pubs or bars these days just without the drinks, those come at other times.. no need for territory maps, these almost went away with covid letter writing now they are extremely slow getting finished as those who still go door to door only do ten mins.. you could even voice your questions these days about things the gb say and then just say “we can’t be dogmatic we just don’t know”.
i predict they will say this about 1914 soon..

Who will be killed at Armageddon?
by ExBethelitenowPIMA inif the current doctrine is that only baptised witnesses are going to survive and everyone else burns them what about this new update new light that some from before the flood and sodomites will be resurrected?.
but didn’t he mention at the agm something about there is no point jehovah killing them and then resurrecting them again?
it seems they are confused about what they teach and that’s why brother jackson joked about “is this what we used to believe or what we believe now?”.

My wife and I don’t believe the old or the new doctrine. But Zoe still can’t make out what the new light actually is? We watched the leaked AGM together and we’re both sick to hear Jeff Jackson mock the old light how stupid it was. This is actually extremely disturbing him saying “we know what you were thinking” some were hoping these ones would die before Armageddon! This is actually really sick when you think about it

Literature Carts
by NotFormer inwhenever i see a photo of a literature cart, they all look the same to me.
are they a standard design?
who makes them?
-
Teddnzo
Yes that is correct. I had it on good authority from someone who knew the brothers from bethel who designed and built the first ones. They set up a little company and got their designs mass production in China.
The congregation pays out of donated funds and those brothers have made a tidy sum out of the enterprise

Average Joe your post avoids the question who will be killed at Armageddon? Is it everyone who is not baptised? What about children, orphans, then the lame, blind , deaf. Cripples and people with debilitating paralysis? Will Jeh murder them all because not baptised?
Jef Jackson said Some used to hope they would die before the big A. Then they would be resurrected but he scoffed at such a stupid teaching 🤣 so what is the new light then? I don’t understand what the new doctrine is?

Yes some brothers in Bethel left, they set up a little factory making carts and are making a big profit. Lots of ex bethel elites make money from JW activities
some ex bethelites set up an ap that most congregations use now call JWsheduler. It was free to start with, then they got most congregations used to it and started charging
once they started charging every month they changed the name to new world scheduler and had a big disclaimer that they are not officially from the branch. Even though they are all ex bethelites from fishgill which is the computer dept.

Would anyone hazard a guess at what his entire income is? And how much of that does he need to live in Croatia ?
If his patrons numbers drop to a certain number will he have to go get a job?

Polls peg JWs at 14-16M members (extrapolating what people put down as their religious affiliation across large groups of people) but the number of “active” publishers has officially hovered about 7M for quite some time. That means that for every active dub, there is someone that is no longer participating but still considers themselves “in”. Not sure what those ratios are across other churches but for a high control cult this is rather outside the norm.
-
It’s nearer 9 million publishers worldwide, but as you say about 7 million active publishers. Maybe this non reporting new light will mean the inactive publishers can’t be so easily distinguished
Memorial attendance is well over 20 million but that includes unbelieving spouses and interested ones.
Yes I would guess those polls saying 14-16 million JWs globally are about right if you include hangers on.
Maybe about 5 million fully PIMO these are the Elders families and pioneers etc.
Then another 5 million go with the flow because they have family still in, and they like the association. My wife and I are in this camp and maybe this is what is being called JWLITE on Reddit. We can be called PIMQ or PIMA.
Then maybe another 5 million full job PIMO. They are only going to memorial in person and the rest of the time on zoom.

New meeting format
by ExBethelitenowPIMA injust watched november broadcast very different order to the leaked agm .
be good if someone did a deep dive on the difference and why the changes?
i didn’t time the items but it should be easy to see if edited?.

It’s shame because the old midweek meeting was east but this new format takes a lot more effort
it’s confusing
has anyone else tried to go through the notes?

So could someone really take someone else to court if they said something not nice about someone else? Yes this is as ridiculous as it sounds.
Lets take the hypothetical situation that Lloyd never actually visited sex workers regularly and never admitted to that, then someone accused them of this very thing.
Could there actually be a court case where there is a trail to see if the accusations are true? If the person never saw sex workers what is the actual crime? Defamation? Then what?
this is playground stuff

Yes JWLITE is quiet quitting. You can now make your own rules. Think for yourself. Tell yourself the story you choose to believe.
You could fade away but keep friends that you want to keep and if like me and my wife you still choose to go to associate occasionally then that’s all part of JWLITE.
Its the best of both worlds being in and being out
