Well I just have to say that I had an amazing time! My close friends got me a cake and even some presents. To say this is a selfish act is a bunch of bull. It hit me hard with emotions - I cried and they comforted me and said don’t worry about the past you’ve got at least 42 more to celebrate 😉.

Have to hide the presents at work because wife if PIMI. I know my leaving soon will cause her much anguish and i hate that but i can’t stay PIMO any longer - life is too short and this is too liberating to be imprisoned any more with these lies and deceptions.

Yes 42 - and I’m going over to some of my good friends house to celebrate - this is my first one and I’m so excited 🎂🎂🎂🎂😋

We used to have “I love you parties” every year as kids and exchange gifts. It was fun but we stopped after elders complained to parents it was too much like a worldly celebration.

All I have to say about that now is Fu€k’em

Advice on Disassociating

hello my exjw/pimo/pomo friends,.

i am working on penning my da letter and wondered if i should use it as a tool to maybe wake up individuals as the boe will have to read it.. anyone have any advice on what i should say versus what i should leave out?

i am not going to fade as my family can either be loyal to blood or loyal to a man made religion.

I appreciate the genuine concern and It was never my intent to cause controversy. I cannot live a double life. My self worth, honor, and integrity push me to be true thine own-self.

Maybe I should have proposed how would you DA? What would you put in the letter.

so they finally posted a news item about the branch even though it was revealed to us many days ago.

I am open to advice from both POV. My reality is that if my family puts their religion ahead of our family ties then I don't need them anyways. That may sound cold but its the truth and I have no children (Thanks BORG) and Wife will leave me if I DA so nothing I can do about that.

I will not live a lie to make others superficially happy and if that makes me selfish then so be it.

My marriage has been miserable due to Borg interfering with what we can and can't do in the Bedroom. It has made for guilt and I will not live that life anymore.

If you are not for me then you are against me - isn't that what were indoctrinated with...

bennyK I like your reasoning, maybe that is the route I could take, my concern is I don't want to draw out the inevitable.

I am not going to sit in some kangaroo court.. :-)
