I was friends with Ricki Williams in junior high and high school. I also saw the fliming of the show King of Queens yesterday and saw the whole cast. That was really fun.

Anyone ever rub elbows with a Celebrity?
by RubyTuesday inwhen i was in the sixth grade in roswell n.m. i met this girl whos father had recently died.my father had also passed away recently.we were both very shy and haveing the lose of our fathers in common we stuck together that year.we never did anything outside of school however, not sure why,she never invited me over and now i think it was because of her horrible home life.but we ate lunch together everyday and chated in a class we shared.i never saw her again until..... when i was in my 20's my cousins wife told me that my friend demetria guynes was....... drum roll..plz.

DID YOU ALLOW BAD ASSOCIATIONS?
by minimus inbeing raised as a witness, i was taught to have nothing to do with worldly people.
as long as they were not dedicated, baptized worshippers of jehovah, they were considered as wicked ones that would soon be destroyed at armaggedon.
in school and later, at work, i tried to keep a safe distance from anyone not a witness.

I was not allowed to have any wordly friends. When I started dating a wordly guy my parents flipped out. I wasn't good association because I had a mind of my own and would give my opinions. I also never regular pioneered. In my hall if you were a woman and didn't regular pioneer you were considered bad association. The sisters would only work in service with you or speak to you to encourge you to regular pioneer.

Ok if we are going to be honest here. In real life I am an extremely Type A personality. I am horribly shy and anti-social. I pretty much just keep to myself.

Its funny I was just talking to my Grandmother the other day on the phone and she was telling about how the Watchtower said the internet is bad. She told me it used the example of this young women that met a guy on the internet and went to meet him and he killed her. She told me not to go in those chat rooms because all there are is them crazy people. I just thought that was hilarious. Like everyone who goes into a chat room is going to die.

To spank or not to spank?
by Nowhere ini had a conversation with an active witness from the usa lately.
and when talking about child upbringing he stated that some children need a spank sometimes.
of course i was upset because of that, and i didn't thought witnesses was that stupid.

I believe you spank a child only if nothing else works and only one swat on the butt. But I know in the USA you can have you children taken away from you if you smack them in public.
