I'm sure the GB will then lighten the load on publishers by telling them to reduce their contribution by 50% now that two congregations share the same hall.

48% Capacity at Kingdom Halls - A post on reddit
by berrygerry inthere was a letter read this week, followed by a talk about all the changes that are coming in the next couple of months regarding merging congregations in the area (va/md/dc) - the letter said that the kh's in the area are only being filled to 48% capacity.
this was music to my ears as i have noticed the decline in attendance in all the neighboring congregations.
they will sell some kingdom halls and merge some congregations.

Apostasy endorsed in this yesterday's Watchtower Study
by doubtfull1799 in“there may be occasions when it would be good for us to reconsider a choice or decision.
it could be when the prevailing circumstances change.
jehovah altered his decision at times when circumstances changed.

IMO when they use the term 'WE' they are referring to JW leadership i.e. Governing Body, not the rank-in-file worms.
This is just CIA for some change they will make, not a license for publishers to reconsider any change of direction on their part.

Were there two Finished Mystery books? One that had some context that the US government used to lock up Rutherford for sedition and a second version where that content was removed or replaced?
I have a copy of the 2nd version. I think the 1st version is more rare.
Edit to add: I see this was already discussed in another post.

As a publisher in the MS, after I grew a beard they didn't say anything but I noticed ALL of my assignments were in the third school in the basement.
That was perfectly fine with me so I never challenged.

Confused trying to understand JW GF or soon to be EX

it went from a physical to a deeper relationship.

James87, A two year investment in a relations may seem like a long time to just toss out without some effort to save. Take your two year loss and move on, it is far less of a loss than 40 or more years of what you are facing if you marry this person.
You may love her, but you will grow to hate her religion, resent her for it that will only make your relationship more strained.
Good luck on whatever path you decide to take!

Memorial
by Gorbatchov inwhat i noticed during the memorial is the over organised ritual aspect.
for a non jw is must be hard to follow.. for me, i noticed that during the memorial there is no attention for the historical jesus and the historical events.
it's all about the kingdom arrangement with it's central point, the governing body of jw.. do you noticed this also?.

Deuteronomy 18:20-22New American Standard Bible (NASB)
20 But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, [a]that prophet shall die.’ 21 [b]You may say in your heart, ‘How will we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ 22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

In praise of Randall Watters
by nicolaou inexjw's of a certain age will remember randy's site well.
freeminds was instrumental in waking me up along with ray franz's books.
if net soup and armageddon okies mean nothing to you you're probably under 30.. whatever caused randy to post what he did recently is something i can only guess at but it won't be what i remember him for.. randy, i wish you well and thank you for all you've done over the years .

When I began my exit in 2000, Randy's FREEMINDS site was very valuable in helping me wake up. One of the best ex-JW sites on the net.
Thank you Randy for being one of the early trailblazers on exposing the WT on the internet!
I'm sure there were many apostates the preceded Randy that I have never known. Kudos to them for having true grit to see the WT for what it was and try to alert others mostly by holding up signs outside conventions in the pre-internet era.
