I've heard that the Oregon Trail was a tough experience, and that it knocked the stuffing out of all who took it. Many things were lost, including a tolerance for extra letters in words. At least your ancestors weren't part of the Donner Party - who knows WHAT they would have lost!

i have two cats.

one is a fat female cat.

i have one of those soaker tubs and when i soak in it, she will sit on the back ledge and bury her head in my hair and just purr up a storm.

They will wrestle and run back and forth . The funniest thing is the cat will roll on his back, and the dog will grab the cats tail and spin him around .

We have a digital bathroom scale just inside the kitchen door, next to the cats' eating area. Sugar will sometimes sit on it because it is raised, springy, and out of the path of us clumsy-foots. He'll sometimes sit on the right button to turn the scale on. I'll hear a loud "Beep!" come from the kitchen and I'll say "What was that?" Then I'll realise and say "Oh, it's the bloody cat weighing himself again!"
FWIW, he weighs 4 Kilograms...
