  you have known john and jane for a couple of years now, and so far they appear to be the perfectly happy 'normal' married couple.

  they seem totally into each other and when in public usually can't keep their hands off each other.

  I'd say C (if they were attractive) but the woman is not allowed to touch me, I'm not like that. But keep in mind that your wife will often picture you with this other woman. And it might make her jaelous after the fact. Marriages have been ruined by this very thing.

  So was this really hypothetical or did it happen to you? Or are you planning to do this to another couple? And are you cute? Is your wife cute? What are you wearing right now. . . . .

  Different view on DF vs. DA?

  i da'd myself in 1993; i had left in june and by october, after several jc meetings, i was told to either write a letter or else i'd be df'd within the week.

  taking the view of having control over my own destiny, i wrote a letter.

  my parents then disowned me, because i had stated that i did not want to be associated with jws.

  I don't really know how your family life was before you DA'd yourself so I can't tell you how differently your parents would've reacted had you been DF'd, I can only tell you my personal experience.

  I was DF'd last summer. My parents almost never talk to me now. I've written them long letters telling them how much I love them and that I want to be in their lives regardless of our different religious views. I explained scriptually why I believed that the WBTS was wrong, but that I respected that they still believed. I tried to emphasize my love over and over again. All of this was to no avail. My mom calls once a month but it's never to say she misses me or anything loving, it's usually just to tell me something business related. I was extremely close to my mother and younger brother before this happened, and now I have almost no relationship with them.

  I'm not trying to say that your family would've acted like mine, but as far as shunning goes, I think it's pretty equal when it comes to DA'd people and DF'd people.

  hello watchtower monitors and people of the board....here's the game.. somewhere, in the united states, there is going to be an apostate showing up at one of your district assemblies, he will be sporting a rainbow wig and a john 3:16 sign.

  inside the convention.. now now, before apologists and dissents come my way.....i got a protest permit to be on said premis, and also, once i wear the wig and show the sign....as soon as they tell me to leave, i will comply...therefore i cant go to jail(saaay all you want, i already have an "ace up the sleeve" on this, so guess what?

  my daughter was on my pc and i was still signed into my im.

  i was trying to take a nap.

  anyway, a fellow member of this board ..who shall remain nameless signed in on im and my daughter told them i was napping, this then made me a prime target for a prank..

  While my friend was at work, we completely Saran- wrapped his car. (We used about 10 boxes to make sure it was nice and tight.) After we were finished we waited outside until he got off work and he was in total shock! He stood staring at his car a good 5 minutes before moving. I guess he was deciding on a proper course of action. That was our first strike, we did other "bad" stuff to the guy too.

  this is the response that an attorney, practicing in the state of ca, responded to my question if minors are bound the verbal contract (questions 1, 2 given after the baptism talk).

  "nice to hear from you.

  in response to your question, although i am not a contracts attorney (i have some knowledge in the area), in my opionion, i don't believe that you can contract with a minor and force a minor to perform under the contract.

  So what exactly does this mean for all of us that were minors when we were baptized? Was it not "legal"? Does that mean that we couldn't "legally" be disfellowshipped? Tell me more. . .
