  Can a JWs Elder be "removed" if his wife is known as the congregation "gossip"?

  i remember in my kingdom hall one of our 5 elders bro.

  "smith" had a gossipy wife sis "smith" who would be known to gossip from the time she enter the hall until she left.

  i don't know how she never was reproved or counseled for her gossiping.

  It really depends on how much political capital the elder has saved up in the bank. If the elder body does not like you, and your wife is a gossiping bitch who talks about other brothers with lots of watchtower "certificates of deposit", you will be removed!

  We have a elder who tells everything to his wife, she is the first to call her family to inform them if a brother is going to be df'ed, her husband has been brought before the elders six times since I came to this Hall, nothing ever happend to gossiping Dave and Dana. Long-time elder and long-time pioneer allows priveledges others don't have!

  Why can't they allow the World to have one day without banging on the doors of happy families celebrating a holiday?

  I worked with a crazy old man, his line on Christmas day was "You know this holiday is pagan don't you?" "I have some literature on Christmas that shows how Christmas trees are something a Christian would never own or allow in his house!"

  Lucky, Me! I hated being stuck with crazy brothers who have nothing to do on Holidays but show up for "field service" arrangements, and head home all depressed when nobody took his magazines! Poor Dave!

  i attended recently a circuit assembly and notice a change in the wording of the 2nd baptismal question .it used to be :.

  "do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of jehovah's witnesses in association with god's spirit-directed organization?

  Is the Copy Of Ray Franz's Trial By The Governing Body Online?

  i think it's pages 320 through 330 where ray franz mentions, when the governing body prosecution asked the trial to be recorded, ray said, he had no problem as long as he got a copy of the trial his accusers would use against him.

  i did a search on jwn and found no trace of this old audio recording, any old-timers here, know if ray franz released the audio cassette to the public?

  it would demonstrate how irrational and unbiblical the gb movement is!.

  @badseed, Mulitnational companies are starting to rethink China, there are new wage issues coming forward in 2014-2016 dealing with Minimum Wages and Health and Welfare benefits causing companies to think "Vietnam", Latin America and possibly unstable African countries. Pennies matter to greedy companies, they don't care how their products are made, just as long as the shit is made cheap!

  A friend bought me a pair of Nike shoes, I was surprised the metal parts you lace your strings through busted as I pulled my shoes tight. The plastic tip of the lace, used to push through holes, "stringing the shoes up" feel off the lace after one use! 60 Minutes Wedsday November 20th, 2012 additon dealt with cheap counterfiet goods China is great a making! Garbage products made to break!

  WT elders school: The elders in our circuit appear to be "trained" quite well

  in part of the video mentioned above showing the "goofus" elder trying to handle the situation with the crying sister:.

  the "goofus" elder went into the kingdom hall library alone with the sister when she left the auditorium.. you could hear literal, audible, gasps from the 100 or so elders watching the video.. a few moments later, as the sister was crying, "goofus" put out his hand and touched the sister's hand.. again, literal, loud, audible gasps from the audience.. they darkened the room while the video was playing so i couldn't see him, but i have to imagine the co was quite pleased that the audience grasped the "mistakes" that elder goofus was making.. .

  The Governing Body are power hungry men who don't read the Bible. Too busy with rules and regulations, how to disfellowship anyone preceived as committing a future crime against the Borg.

  I hope Jehovah removes these trolls and shows us where the right religion is, and who he is backing up! It can't be a group of men who worshiped the United Nations, told Mexican brothers to lie and bribe, while allowing Malawians to die! May Jehovah Judge the Hoax!

  my guess would be the ones featured prominently in the book.

  franz speculated on different directions the wt doctrine might eventually take and he was proved right.

  perhaps his ideas were considered by some to be good solutions to the corners they painted themselves into and stolen on that basis.

  I doubt any of them read the book, none of the group who disfellowshiped Brother and Sister Vasquez have a Conscience to sink into a crisis.

  The elderbody that RayP recorded, should not complain one bit, I know elders who secretly recorded brothers without telling the. Now I find the Governing Body used recording equipment to entrap their own, using third hand gossip to charge Sam Dunlap, Ray Franz, The Vasquez (Spanish Translators Living at Bethel-ze-bub) were treated worse than water-boarding.

  The GB don't care about the Holy Bible, their concern is to prevent Christians from entering into the Kingdom of God, receiving glory by bowing to each other, and using their counterfiet religion to rob people of eternal life! I don't care much for those villians or sith lords!

  Great Work "Christ Alone", there's plenty of evidence in my opinion to believe Paul existed.

  No amount of early writings is going to convince anyone who is unable to weigh the evidence without prejudice. How many websites exist that claim "Jesus of Nazareth" never existed? The sheer amount of mental acrobatics used to discredit Bibilical and secular sources, are nothing more than cheap attempts at sensationalism.

  The same goes with the Apostle Paul, you can prepare a large amount of research "Christ Alone", but in the end, will it change anyone's mind who is infatuated by their first year college teachers who say the darnest things?

  i've had it a couple of times in the hospital.

  it's amazing stuff, one second you're awake, the next second you're asleep.

  they turn it off, and you immediately wake up.

  Are you able to exercise throughout the day? People taking sleeping pills don't usually have a good program, taking them various times, instead of one set time at night. Example:

  At 8pm if you think you can't get to sleep until 11-12, take your Ambien and try not to read or watch anything with too much stimuli. If your doctor has given you one of the Benzo's, calculate a couple of hours before you desire to sleep. The problem I've seen is many take the medications as their laying down in their beds, waiting hours for the medications to kick, as they rehearse how their day went.

  Our society is truly a sleep deprieved one, with so much stress, anxiety others deal with chronic pain and depression. There is no sure fire "silver bullet" for rest, only try to develop some kind of routine that tells your body, "hey we are going to wind our day down, and get relaxed (no reading material in bed), we don't need propofol to sleep!

  When your sleep become really bad, I know some doctors will start handing out Seroquel 50-100mg, I hear it knocks you out for ten hours!
