1. Will going to the elders with questions about recent teachings put me in a good light, or will I be looked upon with suspicion?

2. Look how well "Ray Publisher's" questions about 1914 went for him, his elders were speechless with each question he brought up. How many answers to his questions were they able to address, other than "Ex-JWs are bitter angry people I know" Elder Dennis

3. The elders can't answer 'personal ideas and doubts" publishers have that are legitiment. The Slave is allowed to teach anti-Bible-Christian garbled doctrine, and their sheep get punished and "marked' for asking questions. I know this for a fact, I watched people get screwed with for not towing the party line.

4. It's a fact we are under alot of pressure, questions are popping up and "Old Schooled" elders are hitting the "Apostate Alarm". It's not uncommon for a "answer seeker's" friends and family to be told of possible dangerous association. Look at "Ray Publisher's friend from Porterville, Ca who turned on him for life." We are at a watershedd period, the next ten years are going to make or break the Organziation if they can keep members from visiting anti-JW sites.

5. Who is going to tell their elders "I think the new Faithful Slave Light" is a heaping pile of dung? I think the "new generation" teaching is so twisted, it's causing my heart to hurt and question the authority behind the teachings?

Many of my former friends were good at sniffing out the "evil slaves", "trouble-makers", "self-appointed messiahs" of the congregations, asking questions only point's the red laser on your head. What was said at your Circuit Assembly was a bold-faced lie, elders won't touch dangereous material, I asked a couple of COs what they tought of certain topics and it caused me to be "marked" for a short period of time. So I write what happened to me so others here (Lurkers) don't shoot themself in the foot! God Bless you all!

october 6, 2012. during their annual meeting the governing body announced some changes in their interpretation of (1) the most important scripture in watch-tower theology, and (2) the most important event in watchtower history.

are their changes new light according to proverbs, or refinement according to daniel and malachi?

Why do we on JWN receive the latest up-to-date transmission of "new light", before the "rank and file" JWs have access through their "proper channel"? The Evil Slave is feeding his sheep far quicker, and more accurately than the Watchtower?

Did Jesus ever claim he had to die for our sins?

so for those that have been keeping up: i have recently become fascinated with the lost gospels as well as the history of the four cannon gospels (matthew, mark, luke, and john) and as some may say the "historical jesus".. i am fascinated by the variations in who jesus was and what he did according to different traditions and texts.

one thing that provoked me the other day is that the coptics/gnostics do not believe jesus "died for our sins".

which explains why an i have never been accosted infront of my favorite drinking hole my a glassy eyed 20 year old with a pamphlet in their hand asking if i am "saved".. so this got me thinking..... i don't recall jesus ever claiming to have to die for our sins in matthew, mark, luke or john either?

The great writers provide ample source material with notes from the books and scrolls they derive their arguments from. Ray Franz, good writer with awesome notatations and appendix, Greg Stafford, "E-watchman", "Blondie" post source material from her deep studying. Bring out your big guns onto this discussion.

JW tour bus crashes in Florida, with fatalities-

miami - a bus carrying 32 members of a church group hit a concrete overpass at miami international airport after the driver got lost, killing two elderly people on board and leaving three others critically injured, officials said saturday.. the large, white bus was too tall for the 8-foot-6-inch entrance to the arrivals area, said airport spokesman greg chin.

buses are supposed to go through the departures area, which has a higher ceiling, he said.. chin said the passengers told him they were part of a group of jehovah's witnesses headed to west palm beach.

police said in a news release that the group had chartered the bus to take them to a church convention there-.

Ask yourself, when was the last time you had a "Elder" provide spiritual encouragement or not cancel a Shepherding Call "they been wanting to do for your family, but it's been a busy three years now!"

Elders have no time to help, it's the sad truth all JWs must eventually face. When will the Watchtower Society allow elders to keep their own houses from imploding? Elder's are underappreciated, do all the shit work, do their best to try to help the sheep (Most elders are good people, some are very bad, a small minority are wicked) with no formal education.

Guilt, guilt and more guilt! What percentage of Governing Body members and the "Writing Staff" preach on Thanksgiving and Christmas? I bet it's less than 1 percent!

Does anyone wake up as a kid and say "I want to be a Circuit Overseer who obey's the crazy ideas hashed out by hateful, legalistic men trying to control my Christian Freedom? I thought of the Traveling Overseers who have to go out on Holiday's if it's part of their Kingdom Hall visit.

Your blog is awesome Marvin! I always appreciate the relevant topics and deep research you provide the community of JWN, when are you going to write a book on JWs and Blood or a real history of the Watchtower?

Marvin, since you are the expert with the "Blood Doctrine", are JWs allowed to take the "blood products" from other human beings? If they are allowed to take them, are Jehovah's Witnesses allowed to donate blood to make the fragments they take, to replenish supplies needed?

How can you take something so precious "blood" and not be willing to return the gift you were given "blood"?

"Breaking Bad" I watched up to Season 4, I was hooked after episode 1 but I don't want to use my show up. It's hard to find good TV shows like BB, maybe toward the end of December I can catch up on BB Season 5. Walt is tough, I heard he got a new role in a movie?

Think for a moment, how many fights are triggered by drunks? If marijuana is a gateway to spiritism, alcoholic beverages are the freeway to physical violence and murder using that elders reasonings.

What's the propensity for murder and drinking? Murder and smoking marijuana

Data-Dog, it's fun to obseve elders who joined "Wine Clubs", watch them (test their skills of wine knowledge-fake snobs) drink three of four bottles (per person) getting hammered and talk "spiritual topics" and "how Jehovah is using them to clean up the Kingdom Hall", they laughed about kids getting reproved for getting high as they slur their words??????

You have to be really tweaked to follow their logic.
