  has anyone else recieved the letter from the gb about international conventions in 2014?

  according to the letter the missionarys/order of full time servants desperately need to get to the conventions in their homeland.

  so to accomplish this, jehovah needs 15 cents per publisher, per congregation for some months ( sorry i can't remember the exact length of time ).

  I could care less if they need a dime per publisher, when the Organization starts caring about the rank and file members, maybe we could throw two-bits at them. The circuit overseers are hammering members for donations to cover all the costs associated with running a top notch Organization. I thought you all were kidding on the begging part until I heard a talk, they are desperate for cash right now.

  You get what you pay for, maybe if they start adding some value into the Meetings instead of the same old trash, they would get more donations! "If there is a overage, they will use it to pay down Candance Conti's lawsuit or a private settlement" What has "The World Wide Work" done for anyone in their time of need, this Organization does not give a horses butt about anyone but their people at the top.

  Why are they surprised of a dollar shortfall when education and jobs requiring overtime are frowned upon by the Marshalls of Mayhem? Colonel Klink and Sargent Shultz are rushing through Congregation Camp asking for money from their POWs. I knew of Pioneers who never donated because their time was more valuable than money, others with limited incomes or fixed incomes were too strapped for cash to attend the District Assemblies without assistance from the Kingdom Hall opperating fund. Why do their members acted surprised the majority of the dubs are broke?

  My Mother Passed

  thank you for all of your support durning the two difficult weeks my mother was on her death bed.

  last night at 10:30pm she breath her last with my sister and i by her side.

  this is a real end of an era for me as i have known little these past 8 years other than taking care of my parents.

  I saw someone all dressed up in meeting clothes, I did my best to sneak past them without getting noticed. The long drawn out conversations of "when are you coming back? We all miss you (Yeah right, I can tell by your attempts of checking up on me!) and worry about your family! You don't want your family to die do you?" No, I do my best to avoid these attempts at spiritually restarting me, they leave the choke on high and flood my carb with too kick starts in the stomach. The old geezers are the worst with tact and usually they don't have a mental filter that prevents them from saying the craziest crap!

  Thank's for your ideas and posts, it's going to take time to deal with all the weirdos and good people I still run across.

  interesting meeting today.the do had the last talk and he mentioned a couple of things i have not heard before :.

  1) the new lighter magazines are designed in a way to attract people to our website .

  2)the ministry will change to incoprorate preacing in town centres and and with stands as in manhattan and certain brothers will be allocated to do this .so it is done now in a big scale ,organised.. 3)the qr codes at the back of the magazines are there for smart phone users to guide them directly to jw.org ,unlike bad old internet via laptops and pc's that you have to look for the website on google and sometimes end up in enemy websites that look like our website but are spreading lies about jw's (he said exactly that!

  I saw those rolly carts and portable benches of literature and books at the Flea Market. They would like to do more activity at the "Farmer's Market's" too because of the large crowd of young and old trying to find ways to get food without chemicals. The Door to Door work is not producing enough rates of return, they need "Alternative Witnessesing with a targeted audience". More pressure to do more and blame the publishers for failing to perform, mention how "such and such country is preaching barefoot through a cold Siberian village with five studies each".

  BOTR: "I've noted Witnesses at tables in several cities over the years (Boston, NY, Philadelphia, and DC). Unless they man it alone, they are so engrossed in conversaton with each other that you can not speak to them."

  BOTR, what are they doing at these boothes in the Flea Markets, Malls or City Walk ways when all they do is sit back and talk about Worldy stuff? I passed by the booth and stood at a distance listening to them cackle and laugh as people walk by them. They are not allowed to speak unless you approach them, still the conversations of these "Preachers Of The Word" are not always Christian or Christ-like. What happen's when someone walks up for a moment and they are too busy gabbing with each other and forget the reason they are there? They really are lost!

Billions of dollars in disability because of the affects the War has had on these young and middle age soldiers. Some reports estimate forty percent of all soldiers serving multipule tours in Iraq, Afghanisatan are suffering from PTSD and other maladies.

  The Watchtower is at War with Satan's wicked system of things, using all means necessary to keep you alive. The "Tower" provided each member with "Body Suits", "Helmets" and "Theocratic Teachings and Mentoring of their Special Force Members". Whether you were disfellowshiped or disassociated, faded or just stopped going, do you feel you left something behing in the bunkers of the Kingdom Hall? Possibly in the trenches in the field service or serving the troops as the appointed company man?

  What is a brother or sister living off the good graces of the Watchtower, suppose to do if they figure out it's a lie? I ask myself why Ray Franz or Ed Dunlap did not keep their mouth quite when they could have lived like kings or little gods? Is the price of a conscience and freedom from tyrannies of mankind worth everything they lost financially? Those two men got screwed along with their wives and family. How do the creeps at the top sleep at night, knowing they do more bad than good?

  I am trying to regain my sense of self worth and think about the future in a better way. I fight the tendancy to think each negative event must be a "sign" and fight the fear the Organization put into each one of us. The guilt is slowing fading even though there was nothing to feel all the guilt I had in the first place. We experienced a War Zone, something only those of us who went through it can relate to. How long does it take before you don't think of the life you left behind in the Organization?

  The people of Berea would be disfellowshiped for Apostasy if they refused to get on board the "Soul Plane" flown by the GB Pilots. Why should anyone listen to a JW coming to their door, when a JW would never listen or accept literature from a competing teaching.
