we did this in the past and it was such fun to get all the great cards.. .
I asked everyone to please include you anyway on their christmas card list I figured since we had your address for get well/be better/strength to you cards it would be nice to just add you to our christmas card list too.

you guys this has really freaked me out so much tonight as i was looking though my revelation book climax at hand i was looking to see where we had left off and i usually do this by seeing where i have stopped highlighting in the book.. so i started at pg 156 & 157 of the book so there were a bunch of marks on those two pages their are pics nothing special there.. but on page 159 their is a pic of jesus in the heavens where he is extending his handout to get a piece of paper and that's where i notice on the hand that were the wrinkles are supposed to be there is a face like a fetusnow i mean anybody can tell you that is a face of a baby.
i don't know why a baby on jesus hand or what it suppose to mean.
i guess it really shows how the control tower (watchtower) make me a jw feel really shitty.
The WTS knows about the anointed who believe this is a sign from God and want to oppose it while sending a secret message to their secret members maybe about watching out for anointed members who believe the messiah will arrive as a black man. So it is definitely RELEVANT and specific. Those pretending there is nothing here are just in "denial". It's as simple as that. OR, they work for the Illuminati and they have to pretend there's nothing here.

Is a smooshed yellow fetus face in a hand supposed to mean something? I fail to see the purpose, nefarious or otherwise, of these so-called subliminal images. You're just seeing a face because the brain is good at picking out faces. Take a pen and randomly scribble around on a piece of paper for a minute or two then flip the paper around and look for faces in the lines, I guarantee you'll find a least one if not more. Did you intentionally draw them? No, but your brain knows how to pick them out.
Marmot---I honestly do not know what their purpose would be---I don't know what pleasure they derive from being such blatant liars on anything either.....but I DO know that there are far too many examples like these embedded throughout their publications for it to be placed there "by accident". I have seen way too many of these pictures over the years, to just wave them off as a fluke.
Your analogy on scribbling does not quite "hold up" in this particular example, because this would mean a random drawing done in this way, "just to see what emerges".....while in contrast, the WTS artwork is CAREFULLY designed and scrutinized to have the very BEST effect on the reader, (much like their very "selective wording" when explaining their peculiar teachings as well as their "excuses" for their behavior.)
I tend to believe that EVERYTHING that comes down from the WTS presses has been well looked over and checked out for "accuracy", by those in charge. Nothing "gets by" them, or what they are trying to convey.
(PS----I enjoy a good and thoughtful debate or discussion on differences of opinion.....what I find offensive is when a poster will make purposely insulting remarks, or insinuate that anything other than his opinion is stupid and those that disagree with his opinion are stupid or "need mental help" etc. I have no problem with respectful comments that offer another point of view....just as yours did. )

The "face" on Mars, the smoke from 9-1-1, and seeing fleeting images in clouds......are all "natural" by occurrence and NOT drawn by man and then placed in a magazine purported to be "under Jehovah's direction", presented as biblically accurate knowledge for the edification of sincere bible students (as they like to claim). We cannot begin to compare these instances in the same way.

You notice that "ONLY ELEVEN ELDERS HAVE BEEN SUED etc" which is NOT the same as how many have been ACCUSED of this crime. As usual, the clever WTS has carefully chosen its words to reflect something other than what is actually "happening", enjoying the illusion they are presenting in the way they say it. The Masters of doublespeak are at it again.
Considering too, that they tell their followers that they are led by Jehovah and that Jesus is running things there----AND that these very SAME elders were chosen by Holy Spirit......so HOW could this possibly BE?

That might be a general claim if you're talking about an ink blot. But LOTS OF PEOPLE clearly see this face and list it along with other "subliminal" art. So you're just in DENIAL. I've pointed this picture out to some other witnesses and asked them about it, and they did the same thing. Just said it was a fluke and not intentional and "looks like a normal hand to me", which of course, they were being dishonest. Anybody can see with the artistic ability of the illustrators that this was a COMMISSIONED cryptic depiction, the best they could come up with, but so obvious it's not even SUBLIMINAL
We might tend to forget that the WTS closely inspects EVERYTHING that is published....and makes sure that it passes THEIR standards and represents JUST what THEY want to say. There is no possible way that this stuff can be "a mistake" or put in there "by accident". I have no idea just WHY these things are there, OR why they are allowed to be printed this way in the first place.....but I DO know that the WTS is up to no good and always has been. Trickery, deceit and mind games are the order of the day. Who, but them, KNOWS why they put this stuff in their artwork.

I have been hesitant to put my name down for this list because I was afraid seeing so many people (translated as extra stamps to buy) would make my hubby balk if I mentioned it.....but I would SO like to be included. Seeing as how even HE got a kick out of seeing all those get well cards sent to me from all over the globe---it may have softened the Grinch aspect a bit. (I'm HOPING anyway, LOL!)
So count me in, I will go ahead with the plan.....and NOW I would like to know:
What is the cost of postage from the USA to Canada,
from the USA to the UK,
and from the USA to Australia and New Zealand.
I tried to read the online postal site last year and couldn't make heads or tails out of it. I need down-to-earth answers and NO scales and graphs to figure out for ME to understand it!

(YAWN) .....yet ANOTHER pitiful and lame excuse for the WTS behavior. You would THINK that "THE only true religion"....being BLESSED AND LED by God and RUN BY Jesus.....would not have to resort to these pathetic bleatings when their teachings and their operations go sour.
the past year or so was year was really, really bad as i came to realize the waking up experience.
once i knew for sure wt was a sham, (although maybe sincere), i had this immediate feeling i would have to leave.....everything.
of course my wife was already going nuts from all my study, questions, doubts, letters to society, meetings with elders....but once i really knew and felt i would have to leave.... i did leave several times.
There is nothing normal at all about the JW culture. To be a true JW is to distance yourself from almost every aspect of normal life Welcome to the real world now.
And THIS is "IT" in a nutshell!
MY first reaction when I finally realized that I had been duped and lied to for 30 years---was while fighting the disbelief of it ALL, was a feeling a very real and intense pain in my gut. I felt as if I had truly been kicked in the midsection by a horse. I just wanted "it" to go away and I holed up in solitude and silence (except online) until I could come to grips with "it" and figure out what I would do. I did not even tell my husband what I had discovered (and uncovered) about the WTS for a few months.
As praticing and active JWs----we WERE the freaks---and each step AWAY from all those peculiar and unpopular beliefs was, for me, another step TOWARDS normalcy. I "sat on" this knowledge for months before I began to flex my "normal" muscles and take my stand back within the human race.
It takes time to reprogram all the thoughts you were accustomed to believing and being TOLD were "pleasing to God"....and to take stock in what you DO accept and believe and can live by now.There IS no reason to try and "rush" this transition period---we all have to go at our own pace and decide what is best for US. Go at it ---at whatever is good and comfortable for YOU. We are always here for advice, empathy for having "been there", and offering encouragement when needed. As one poster here recently told ME---we'll leave the light on for ya!
Oompa...I am SURE you are going to be fine---having a good sense of humor helps immensely, and we have seen that in you from the gitgo! Hang in there my friend!
