  hello all.... i am new here so i figured i'd make a quick post introducing myself and giving a brief intro as to who i am and what i'm here for... as well as to hopefully meet others.. so, i made a profile and in it i gave a pretty detailed explanation as to my intent here and exactly why i decided to participate in the boards.

  in case you don't read it, i'll give a brief summary.

  i remember that we were always encouraged to let everyone at work know that you were one of jw's and therefore would not participate in any of their functions, parties etc.. this i outrightly refused to do.

  my reasoning was that i was employed and paid to do a job and therefore my religious beliefs were a personal matter and therefore had nothing to do with my work.

  secondly i had to work with these people.

  He has already said things in the past about his own daughter that were lewd and suggestive and IMO, equally or even more disturbing.

  I posted about his comments on his daughter on a different thread some time ago. My post was removed though.....

  I can remember my Grandad raging and ranting about the lengthy shorts that were becoming popular in the early 90's. "Now, are they long shorts, or a pair of short longs!"

  A few years after that they started wearing shorts hanging half way down the backside. My old Grandad had a hard time adjusting to all the 'new light'.

  i grew up doing both.

  while i was in the org, i didn't hear too much about fishing, but all of the co's frowned upon hunting.

  their stance was jw's should not own a gun.

  I have known plenty of JWs who owned guns and enjoyed hunting and shooting. Fishing is almost compulsory, in some parts of Australia.

  in many countries around the world the realization of how reckless the jws can be towards child endangerment and, more broadly, family safety, has started to take hold.

  the results from the preliminary findings of the australian royal commission and the case being made in the united kingdom - which may remove the watchtowers tax exempt status - are both prime examples of this.

  unfortunately, as the wt is headquartered in the united states any actions taken against the society will ultimately be limited in scope for such outside countries.. however, if hillary clinton should become president, i think there's a very good chance the wt could face serious and very far reaching legal action.

  The primary, secondary and third wife would need 3 boys each. The fourth wife would need 2 boys. He would likely need to take some more women as his property to reach the 11 mark.
