I think the 6 pages are good for you by getting everything straight in your head, but won't fulfill anything else, a straightforward 'i no longer want to be known as a JW' will have the same effect on the elders as a full length article.

What is the most fun you can have as a JW without punishment or guilt?
by usualusername ini was just thinking of of the fun i had since leaving the jws and many things i have done since would fall foul of judicial action.. .
even inviting a female neighbour over for tea could have caused problems, which got me to thinking.
how much fun can you have as a witness guilt free?.

A walk over the hills on new years day seemed to be a highlight for many.
Pioneer parties, where after a special month of effort, all the pioneers get invited, what a lovely clique that is.
Weddings always seem to be an odd one. Half having fun, the other half complaining the music's too loud.

Reaction When Telling JWs "New Light" Regarding GB & FDS
by turtleturtle ini told some jw friends about the confirmed changes to the understanding of who the fds is.
two brothers that are in appointed positions stated "i thought that was the understanding already".. .
figures.

I overheard a relative who is an elder say to another member of my family, 'of course that's what I believed anyway'. I was incensed at the comment and walked off, to me he was admitting that until 'the truth' fits into his interpretation of it he's happy to dispense the latest GB drivel.

ARE YOU SCARED THAT GOD WILL KILL YOU "SOON"?
by clarity injust started to research the who's who of gods!.
really helps to not take any of this 'god' power seriously!.

I'd love one of those ancient coins! Can you imagine how freaked out JWs would get seeing their god one side and a pagan the other, wonder which side is heads or tails?
To answer the question, no I'm not scared, when it's time for me to go its my time, not in gods time, I don't believe in any divine timetable.

The New Diary of Winston Smith
by WinstonSmith inwe had to go off grid for a time, time and half a time as we thought we had been outed.
fortunately it was a false alarm, but it was a stressful time.
i asked for my original diary thread to be deleted in case there could be anything on there to identlfy mrs smith and i. i am always very careful when posting, and am sure there was nothing on there, but felt it best to have it removed in order to be as cautious as a dove.

First off, Hello Winston, I'm new here and just read your story, your experience as an elder reads the same as me, including assembly items. I often think of it like working in a fancy hotel, it looks nice, the staff are friendly and polite, you get all you need, but behind the scenes the staff are miserable, the offices don't even have wallpaper and out back is filthy.
The letter above literally gave me heart palpitations. It's so off of reality, unbelievable.
All the best on your fading journey, I'm just away to the cinema with my kids while their mum gets ready for the public talk and wt study!
You can guess how quick my kids made up their mind where they wanted to be

Hargitay, your story is so sad, hang on in there. I can only stress what others have said, save your kids, get back to them, you know what poison they will be getting fed.

Our First Halloween
by Red Piller in(i grew up in the "truth".
) very risky, considering we are still active in the cong..... so we started at the first house and methodically walked up and down each driveway as worked along the street.. we were quickly over-taken by kids who were zig-zagging across lawns and doing houses in random order.
suddenly, it dawned on me.

HUGE, Faithful and discreet slave SEPARATED from other annointed now!!
by EndofMysteries ini almost missed this in my last post, but i just realized how important and must list it.
paragraph 14 from jan 15, 2010 wt last article entitled "jehovah's way of ruling vindicated".
"a few anointed members of "the israel of god" still remain, and as jesus' brothers, they continue to act as "ambassadors substituting for christ (2 cor 5:20) they have been appointed as a faithful and discreet slave class to care for and provide spiritual food for annointed ones and a growing crowd of christians, who now include millions having the hope of living on earth forever.

Maybe they introduced it 2/3 years ago as a subliminal message, so most JWs will say, 'of course, that makes sense, why didn't we see that before, the holy spirit didn't let us!'

selfish flock syndrome
by stillin ina study was recently conducted with sheep outfitted with transmitters.
a "predator" was circling the flock and the researchers found that the sheep tended to shove the weaker ones to the outer fringes and the stronger ones went to the center.
real nice.... boy, i could have used that while i was giving public talks!

The closer to the centre you get the smaller the circle becomes, in the centre its easier to have the wool pulled over your eyes.
