so my husband (who was never a jw) saw a christian bumper sticker today and asked me if the witnesses have any.
i said no (not that i know of anyway) so here are a few he came up with.. 'honk if you're a zombie'.
'my other car is noah's ark'.
Amelia, Where did you get that bumper sticker ? , I want one

i have seen questions regarding how much jehovah's witnesses lie all the time on yahoo answers.
here is the latest question:.
jehovah's witnesses, is lying at any time something jehovah approves of?.
****You have it all wrong, Russell did not expect the end times to START in 1914, he expected them to END. He thought Armageddon was to be in 1914****
@ChangeName
As mentioned correctly by Lisa Rose above, you don't seem to have the facts about the WBTS's history, and it's ever changing escathology which is their foundation for their authority. You are at best misguided as they rewrite and change their dogmatic claims, and at worse your in denial. Can we help you see the truth ? that the WBTS at best can only be yet another denomination from the Adventist movement, or at worse a unrepentant false prophet !

Change name ***I am not interested in copy and pasters loading this topic up with "proof texts" from websites that oppose them. I would like to know why people overlook this blantant misrepresentation of their teachings.****
I'm sure that can happen, it's happens to us all, it's part of life, intensionaly or un-intentionally !
However, as Jesus said our own words can condemn us. The copy and paste from original Watchtower literature condemn them, and that's transparent.
Shalom
hi all - sure sure, you can call me a troll or brainwashed cult member.
i am totally interested in how your answers to these questions.. .
do you find yourself ignoring anything that jehovah's witnesses bring out in regards to their former status as an ngo?.
HYPOCRISY?
Because the Watchtower Society associated itself with, and became very involved with, an organization that they view as the "Wild Beast" and an ungodly product of Satan, many Jehovah's Witness members view the Watchtower Society as very hypocritical.
Is this a fair assessment?
For a complete investigation into this matter you may be interested in reading the book " Jehovah's Witnesses and the United Nations -- How the Watchtower Society Fooled Millions " by Tami Dickerson. The book gives an in-depth look at the scandal by exposing all of the information which the Watchtower Society tried to cover up, including proof that the Watchtower Society continues to have a relationship with United Nations programmes today.
when the walsh case was taken to the house of lords, lord strachan (presiding) made a few remarks about the jehovah's witnesses and the watchtower society, that i will now quote, for they are very interesting.
these were taken from the publication "1956 session cases - cases decided in the court of session and also in the court of justiciary and house of lords, from august 2, 1955, to july 19, 1956", published for the faculty of advocates by oliver and boyd, edimbough, 1956.. case presented to the house of lords in july 19, 1956. lord stracham's comments, page 133 on the subject if the jehovah's witnesses may be legitimally considered a 'religious denomination'.
he pondered about some arguments against this case:.
Marked, thank you Eden
ive had many chats with tec and shes always fun but i must disagree with her angle on jesus and the mosaic law.
she always claims that jesus repealed the law.
ive asked for many times and she has yet to give the exact quote.. perhaps the most damning scripture for tec and friends is mat 5:18 where jesus unequivacably says the laws is perfect and will last forever.

You completetly overlooked the first part of my comment. Which was that the Mosaic Law was a bi-lateral covenant between God and Israel. It had legal conditions. Israel broke the covenant and failed to inherit all the blessings. One of the blessings was they would be a light and bring blessings to the Gentiles. They failed. Israel was destroyed in 70AD. The contract ended. No more temple, no more ceremonial animal sacrifices. No more theoracy.
Jesus was regarded as the true Israel of God. He fulfilled all the conditions of the mosaic law and received all the blessings. He has the authority to institute a new covenant, which he did. Fleshly Israel was given first right of refusal to be part of this new covenant.
Jesus explained to his disciples that the ceremonial laws were fulfilled in him, no further slaughter of animals needed. He explained that sin was not just adultery, but was the LUSTFUL NATURE in the heart/mind. To enter his Kingdom one had to have a chage of NATURE, that enables one to overcome the lusts that give birth to sin, that laws, any laws could not achieve.
Does it really matter to you either way what Jesus did or not intend ?, I have seen some of your older comments and you don't seem to have any love for fleshly Israel or Jesus, a little bit ingenious don't you think ? Or do you have other motives? Just sayin !
i posted this question on ya!
for the jehovah's witnesses about an hour ago and only received one answer.
how would you (ex-jehovah's witnesses) respond to this question.
It was a unity of love because they had so much differences. The fruits of the spirit enabled them to be more tolerant. The WBTS and cults in general confuse unity with UNIFORMITY !
