Why do you, personally, need to adhere to a certain religion? Have you studied what a secular life might be like? Do you understand what a humanitarian thinks and how they live life?

dear jehovah's witnesses and on-the-fencers.. isn't it even a little bit obvious that the watchtower organisation doesn't have jehovah's blessing?.
if it did, why are your leaders, the governing body, asking you for your money and assets?
surely, jehovah would provide for the organisation without having to use your hard earned money and assets?.

my inlaws are polish, though my husband is a 3rd generation american, but the food traditions have stuck around.. we have christmas eve dinner starting with red beet soup with sour cream, pierogies filled with mashed potatoes or saurkraut, ham, polish sausage sliced and cooked with saurkraut, turkey (that part is american), krischickies (likely spelled wrong) which are crispy pastries dipped in powdered sugar, and apple pie (also american.).
there are goodnatured threats toward bad children who may need to get their dupa busted (butt spanked) and therefore santa will bring figismachen.
i also love golabkis (ground beef and rice wrapped in cabbage leaves), but these were not served this time.
Christmas Day we had roast goose. Was yum with proper goose fat tatoes and all the veg from our smallholding.
Boxing day we had a load of peeps round, roast piglet done in the pizza oven on a spit. The head was for the dog. It was the best crackling we have ever had!
