  my friends,.

  i have just been called by the po of my cong.....they want a meeting with me.. exactly a year after learning of the un affair & going to the branch for a never.

  given answer..... next week i may join you not only in heart but officially.... caballo sentado.

  I never went threw anything like that.I left because I wanted out.

  This is easier said than done....You know,you really DON'T have to go if you DON'T want to.If you want out,tell them to put there little meeting,you know where.I had elders come to my door before I wrote my DA letter,and I told them not to come to my door again...I told them I want nuttin to do with them.I did get a bit too angry but I was so sick of the control.I was only 22 at the time,but felt like a 12 yr old.I was so immature for my age then.Too many controled me,I couldn't grow.....

  Are you brave enough to take control of the meeting?Take someone with you,they are allowed to have more than one witness and so are you!If they say no,walk away.Just my opinion....I can't stand the way he do things ..makes me i'll

  Yes,I wil be friends with anybody who disagrees with me.We all the right to believe what we want,and I will never try to control what another believes.It doesn't matter as long as we don't hurt people in the process of disagreeing and no judging another.

  We want no KH and JW organization here...

  now that ive stopped going to meetings, ive had to become the faithful and discreet slave for myself, so to speak, and read the bible often and meditate on what it says.

  just last night, i read this scripture that dumbfounded me: -.

  now jehovah is the spirit; and where the spirit of jehovah is, there is freedom.

  well, i have been checking this board for a few days and love reading the comments.

  i remember starting going to the meetings when i was 5 and continued till i stopped going to the meetings about 10 yrs ago......total of 25 yrs to the meetings.

  i remember as a kid not being able to celebrate birthdays or stuff like that and wearing our dresses up to our knees....that was awful.

  What has Michael done to him self...ohhhh myy!!!!!!I knew he looked odd,but that is sad.I have to say,I thought Micheal was a nice looking young man before he started all that foolishness.

  I don't think any of them are ugly.Wonders what make up can do.They even get air brushed to look smaller and get rid of zits and every human nature flaw.

  I'm not going to compare the world's population to the organization's population.

  I know it happens in the organization.How was I to know how many anyways?They were threatened with DF if they said a word.It happens every where,it how its handled and the "laws" the Gb has,that ticks me off.just like the catholics,they hid it and denyed it,trying to keep their image clean.

  Well,sadly I know too many people who were molested.Well one family I know of who was JW's at the time,were left with a babysitter and this man repeataly molested them.I am not sure if he was a JW.

  There is more.....but really I can't talk about it...makes me ill that people can do this to children.

  well for the second time in one week, i happened to bump into another member of my old congregation.

  (wondering what i have done to deserve this?).

  so we chat cautiously at first, then she mentions that an elderly gentleman in the same cong is very frail and needs someone to look after him.

  I had an Uncle who abused in a home.He has a stroke and he refused therapy

  This man could barley move a limb just one arm that was bent in towards his chest.This woman was hitting my uncle,because he would get cranky and slap her away.

  I hope when my mother gets older and step father,I can help them and take care of them.There is no way,I'm going to have someone treating my parents like crap.I'll do the best I can for my mother.She is a sweet woman who deserves it.You would all love my mom.. and step dad.
