Star Trek "Nemesis" (Fluff)

the new star trek movie, "nemesis" is premiering on december 13, 2002. i am really looking forward to it.

although i grew up with the original, i must admit to a certain fondness for the next generation and to captain picard.

hmmmm....They both look pretty good to me.Picard's bald head is ok....but capitain Kirk....isn't too shabbie ither.

I think I perfer,Picard and the next generation.something about that mans bald head...lol

i just wanted to say something that is ticking me off a bit....... one of my best friends was raised a jw.......she wants nothing to do with it,but she is making her step daughter go to the meetings and assemblies(sp)....her step daughter doesnot want to go.i'm sitting there listening to her forcing her daughter go to the meetings...i'm getting sick to my stomache.why is she doing this to her daughter?she knows what it is like and what it did to her...it did nothing for her...accept get her married off at 16.arrrgggg!!!.

all i said to them ..is "i" don't go beyond the bible!!!!

sorrie,but i'm blowing off a bit off steam here.her step daughter can still have b-days and holidays(which is good) but she has to go to the meetings!her father thinks it is a cult and wants nothing to do with it.....omg!!!.

What Do You Like to Collect

over the years i have had several collections, ranging from louisiana bottles, (this collection was stolen); books relating to la.

which i donated to a library; books by or about jws, which i gave to another library; a stamp collection, which is at my sister's house.

my florida related stamps are now on exhibit at the state library of florida.

I have a collection of little teapots,in shape ranging from churches,to dogs and spaceships...ect

Those little figures they sell in tea,every so often.(Red rose tea )

They came out with a new figure every week or so and you were not sure what figure you were going to get...just imagone the money I spent to get the sets...lol.I used to have to give tea away.

I'm in love with a witness

i'm new to this forum and have been reading all these topics and posts and kind of getting to know some of you.

i've always purposely avoided anti-witness or ex-witness opinion before but i'm tired and am looking for an end to it all.

like it says, i am very much in love with a witness, and she is very much in love with me.

I'm sorry,that I don't have the answers you want to hear.If she is really"firm" in the organization.You will not make her leave.You trying will just make her believe the WTS is right.She is trying to make you a JW and if you donot become one,like the others have said here,she will be made to leave you.She will be looked at being spiritually weak and bad association within the organization.Stupid I know...but I wish you the best.Just don't wait too long,you deserve to be happy as well.

It is extremly hard to get threw a JW,they have to wake up to see it on their own.I did.
