This is a deep question for me.....What do I see..........I see a failure at times and someone who was walked over too many times.I also see a surviver and someone who has become strong.I see a kind,caring person but I can be a bitch. I don't want to be..but it just comes out.I think the JW's helped that quality come out.I see more than I want to share....at this time at least.BUT over all..I can be a great person for 95% of the time...

when you were an active jehovah witness, did you live a double life?

were you a spirtual person at the hall, and in the service, and then a completely different person when no one was around to watch you?

maybe you knew such people?

I was good for most of my Jw's yrs....On the last,I was living a double life.Before I wrote my DA letter,I was celebrating Christmas and hollowe'en and going out to bars.Had a wordly BF and all that stuff.

anyone have a "hand of jehovah" experience?

something that happened that at the time made you feel it had to be jehovah intervening?

if so, how do you feel about it now?

I have no idea if this was God protecting my son.He has basicaly no understanding of danger.(I will mention just incase some people donot know,he is austic)My son was playing on the side of the bath tub and he slipped before I could get him down.As he was falling it looked as if something took a hold of him and pulled him away from the spout,and stopping him from banging his head.He would of smacked it hard......I really feel my son has something "loving"watching over him....hes' had a few close calls.I thanks God as much as I can.

I donot remember if I mentioned this story,but this happened in my province here in Nova Scotia.This was last Christmas.A 3 yr old boy and his mother was driving home on christmas day( or EVE) they think the mother fell asleep behind the wheel,no skid marks....well the car landed on a beach at the ocean.The boy was thrown out of the car onto the sand,he was there alone for many hours during the nite.The boy may have been seeing things from the cold,but he said he had Angels with him all nite.I think that is amazing that a 3 yr old survived something like that here around these oceans in December.Its freezing!

If someone doesn't have any previous knowledge of the bible,it is easy to fall for them JW'S.They make things sound very sweet.

Its not being dumb,its just wanting something better than this.But we are all smart enough to see threw it all.Well thats how I look at it

There are people who care about others and are considerate, those are the smartest people I know

I recall Lady Dianna saying she wasn't a very smart person.I didn't think that was true.She was an amazing ,kind,caring woman,and I cannot forget Mother Theresa.

Disturbances at Assemblies

i remember hearing over and over about how wonderful it was to be gathered together at the assemblies, and how the brotherly love flowed, and everyone got along.. they would comment that where else could you get 10,000 and more people together where there was so much peace and unity.. we were flat out told there was no where that this occured.

that wordly people could never have that many people together, then riots would happen, fights, drunken idiots etc.. well, i have been to many busines seminars, where there are thousands of people, and they never get out of hand.

i have been to many concerts with thousands of people there, and they don't get out of hand.. how egotistical these power witnesses are to think they are the only ones that can get along peacefully.. i know there are cases of fights, or something at large events, but there has been things like that at assemblies too.. has anyone here seen fights, or disturbances at assemblies, or large witness gatherings?

I can recall counsel on ,not reserving seats at assemblies and not placing magazines on them.I wouldn't doubt that is where that came from.
