They don't really care much about the people who don't live in less affluent countries. I bet you if you made a graph of how many ppl buy WT publications in North America versus Africa you would see a bit of a spike for the US, and the graph would drop for Africa.
It's simply a matter of profitability - just like most corporations today, with the current state of the world economy, they are tightening their belts a bit.
The thing that sucks the most is that I once lived in an area where the Zulu awake was distributed, and I even witnessed (argh) to Zulu people, and they were the nicest, friendliest people you could possibly imagine. Thank God this way fewer of them will be seduced.
