hi everyone, i just joined and i have been lost a long time, growing up i was a witness with my mum.

i walked away when i was older, did drugs, sex, travelling all my life never stopping anywhere more than 3 months my entire life, relationship after relationship, pain and hurt after pain and hurt.

i always felt like there was something missing, and tried to find what it was.

I think you are having some kind of crisis. Probably because you were a witness with you mom, and then walked away and jumped in the frying pan with drugs, sex, etc.

That happens a lot to jws who were told Armageddon is coming soon and a paradise earth is just around the corner.

I was raised a witness too, but never really accepted it. Like you I also need evidence that Armageddon by God is coming soon but there really is no evidence, just a book with ancient stories that most of the Western world would argue it’s God inspired word, yet most don’t really read it or follow it.

I think the fact that you have a daughter is a good thing. You have someone that depends on you. So you need to make sure she understands the world she was brought in.

That means you need to start researching subjects like history, religion, human nature, evolution, and subjects that will help you understand why the world is like it is. You also need to understand why God is not coming to save us. Also stay away from drugs, meaningless sex, self harm, and get help if you are thinking of suicide.

Be patient and try not to despair so much. The Watchtower religion is not really a good environment to grow in. It’s a religious Doomsday cult that cultivates fear on it members. That’s why you mum and brother are trying hard to get you back into the religion. They really believe Armageddon by God is coming soon. And they believe God is going to kill Billions of people.

As far as violence in the world and volcanoes, and earthquakes, those things have been happening long before the bible was even written. There hasn’t been a century in history where some catastrophic event hasn’t happened. And who knows what catastrophic event might happen in our time. But that’s no reason you should stop from enjoying the things life offers. Life can be amazing.

And you are right, the universe is a huge place. With thousands of galaxies bigger than our Milky Way Galaxy and with more Solar Systems bigger than our Solar System. Who knows if different lifeforms exist out there smarter than us.

Life is really amazing. You need to make the time to continue seeing and learning about it.

Are you glad you got the Covid Vaccine? Did it help?

i didn’t get the covid vaccine, but i admit, i was scared as shit i made the wrong decision because there was so much confusion out there.

practically all my family and most of my friends took the vaccine because everyone was depending on those in charge to speak the truth.

now a lot of them are sick, and they can't figure out why.

When Covid hit, I didn't mind people taking it, more power to them.

What I did mind was people putting pressure on me to take it. I never took it, I got covid, and got a little sick for about a day. The next day I was fine. I thought perhaps I didn't get Covid. Went to my Dr. to check if I had the Covid antibodies. He said I had to wait a while before checking. I waited about three months and got checked, and I had the Covid antibodies. Meaning I did get Covid and developed immunity naturally.

So to each his own, his/her body, their choice.

The almost 400 million Americans are no different than the Jehovah’s Witness community. The ones that still believe might be good people who have just been indoctrinated to believe that the 9 old dudes in New York have been chosen by Jehovah to lead the way into the New Order.

About 100 million Americans are aware that the Democrat party is the War machine. They are like the Jehovah Witness that wake up. They can look at the history of politics and see that at this current time, the Democratic party wants prolong war because it means money in their pocket. During the Bush administration it was the Republican party that was the war machine.

So what does that tell us? It tells us that someone else is pulling the strings for war and they are powerful enough that they can pull the strings on which ever political party is in power,

In our current situation, and time frame, that’s the main reason why there have been several assassination attempts on Trump. Because they are aware that Trump if elected President, will do everything in his power to stop the war in Ukraine and the middle east. The middle east might be a little harder to stop.

When Trump was in office there was no wars like today for all 4 years. Americans prospered. They could afford a a brand new home. Interest rates were low. Trump is a business man not a politician. He knows that peaceful times brings prosperity for the Average citizen in America. Peace allows citizens to afford buying a Home, a car, and provide groceries at a reasonable price for their children.

That’s why Trump is the only President to go to North Korea and visit with the Kim Jong Un, then he went to China to visit with President Xi Jinping, then he went to Russia to visit with Putin. Then he wanted to stop funding so much money to NATO who just wants war after war in Europe, and he also wanted to stop funding the United Nations.

As soon as Trump’s Presidency was over and Biden took over, Immediately Biden open all the borders to illegal immigrants from all over the world. American citizens were seeing their young daughters being raped and killed. Crime started to skyrocket. Criminals were arrested and released immediately.

Biden has made sure Illegal immigrants come first. In fact Democratic States are now funding new homes for illegal immigrants by giving them $150,000 to put down for a down payment, plus thousands of dollars of food stamps a month, where as American veterans, and law abiding citizens get no help like that for housing.

Biden incited NATO to break the agreement with Russia and slowly start invading parts of land they had agreed not to invade. Biden immediately started funding Ukraine with weapons without the consent of the American People.

Immediately after that, Democratic President Biden start printing tons of money, and getting the USA into Trillions of dollars in Debt with his war. Some how a Pipe Line that supplies oil to Europe was blown up causing prices to blast into the sky for Europeans and Americans alike. I could go on and on but you get the point.

This is why they don’t want Trump for President. He will take away their money making racket or war.

Since God is loving, why will God send people to hell?

his standards would be lower than that of many men....mankind search for god pg 351. hebrews 12: 8 for the lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child.

for reasoning sake, does russell argument holds here since even those god sees as children and god loves are disciplined or punished?.

Jehovah's Witnesses Don't believe in a fiery place, "Hell" where bad people are tormented in the afterlife.

They believe that bad people will just die and be unconscious forever.

I'm assuming you know that first line is not true. The vast majority of gun sales are private and untraced. I sold a 357 handgun out of my trunk in a McDonald's parking lot, lol

I wouldn't assume, I would make sure the State I live in allows "private gun sales" without a background check. Otherwise, you might unexpectedly get a visit that will cost you some $$$$.

In the USA the Individual States determine who is qualified to Vote.

And the State law changes every election term, depending on whether the governor and State legislature becomes Republican majority or Democratic majority.

Guess what majority runs New York and California.

Incarcerated people from Maine, Vermont, and Washington, DC, can vote from prison

In 23 states, those with felony convictions automatically regain the right to vote when they are released from prison.

In 14 states, people formerly incarcerated for felonies automatically regain the right to vote after completing their entire sentence, including probation or parole

Eleven states do not automatically restore voting rights to everyone with felony convictions.

Six states — Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Wyoming — automatically restore voting rights for certain crimes, such as nonviolent felonies.

The specific crimes disqualifying former prisoners from automatic voting right restoration varies from state to state, but most commonly includes homicide, sexual crimes, and certain theft crimes.

As far as background checks for gun buying individuals, the USA has mandatory background check by the FBI. Contrary to popular belief, No one can buy a gun without a FBI background check. But most citizens are ignorant of this fact. And Democrats know this, so they use the rhetoric that the government needs to stop the hundreds or thousands of mass murders in the USA, and can only be accomplish by a Universal Registration.

FBI stats, show that more deaths are accomplish by knives than AR15.

What Democrats want is a Universal registration for all gun buyers. Which is different than a back ground check. A Universal registration is what allowed Hitler and other tyrants to disarm the citizens and allow them to commit genocide.

Gun buyers are required to submit to a background check through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).

A prospective buyer fills out ATF Form 4473 and the federally licensed firearms dealers relays this information to the NICS. NICS staff perform a background check to verify the prospective buyer does not have a criminal record and is not otherwise ineligible to purchase a firearm.

The NICS has conducted more than 300 million checks since launching in 1998, leading to over 3 million denials.

The following groups are currently prohibited from owning guns:

Convicted felons
People under federal domestic restraining orders
People convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence crimes against victims they have been married to, lived with, or had a child with
People committed to a mental-health facility, or a court ruled were mentally unfit
Fugitives
People convicted of drug crimes or determined to by a court to be addicted to an illegal controlled substance

Thirty states, five US territories, and the Washington, DC rely on the FBI for background checks via the NICS. Seven states handle some background checks with the FBI in charge of specific types of transactions. The remaining 13 states, known as “point of contact” states, rely on state law enforcement agencies for background checks.

There is no such thing as buying a gun in the USA without a background check.

I think Democrats have nefarious motives in wanting everyone to vote.

Most of us who keep up with politics know the reason why Democrats want all the scum to vote. Because all the illegals, prisoners, criminals, drug addicts, and uneducated will ALWAYS VOTE DEMOCRAT.

And Democrats are trying hard to make the United States a One Party Government.

That's why in Democrat run States criminals can steal up to 999 dollars and not be charged, Murders get out on small amt. of bail or none at all.

A new bill in California will give illegal immigrants 150,000 Dollars of free money to buy a home, and 10,000 dollars of food stamps every month, courtesy of our tax dollars.

These people will never vote any other way except Democrat.
