I'm shopping for a new bed...
by DanTheMan ini've never liked my twin-sized innerspring mattress that i've used for the past 10 years, so i've decided to upgrade.. i went to a local bed dealer today and found that i liked the foam mattresses the best.
the set i tried wasn't the memory-foam material that is all the rage right now, it was more like a conventional mattress with a polyurethane foam core instead of springs.
they also had latex foam beds, but these were quite expensive, although it is my understanding that latex foam mattresses last 20-30 years.. does anybody have experience with mattresses that uses either of these two types of foam for the core?.

We have a Select Comfort mattress that we bought in '99. Hubby liked it so well that when we took our next motorhome trip, we put it in the motorhome. Schlepped it back into the house after the trip and bought one for the motorhome too.
Really, quite often I lie there and just wallow in how good it feels.

"ACTS of GOD"----- HOW DO YOU VIEW THEM?
by Blueblades inin view of the present hurricane season, i'm thinking about the time that i gave the above talk in november, 1992..here is the note to the speaker:.
help the audience to see that:.
( 1 ) many so -- called acts of god are often caused or made worse by men.. ( 2 ) true acts of god are often ignored by men to their peril.

My first gut reaction is to wonder why you would even want consider a "friendship" with a person who is immoral enough to decieve and destroy the marriage of another and then to evade complete honesty with you. A person does not need "friends" like that, no matter how lonely one is.
Perhaps the 'emotional energy' you invested in JJ would be better spent in keeping in touch with your children.
Voluenteering is a great way to 'get out' and meet new people. Consider volunteeing at your local public library, chamber of commerce, or charities that need volunteers. Or possibly consider going to university yourself.
