A situation came up in my life where I manipulated a body of Elders in making a judicial decision against a brother who I believed was being treated unfairly .
So then I started to really examine what the Bible actually said and it eventually became obvious that it was no more the word of God than the book of Mormon or the Koran or the Talmud.

Agreed jwdoctrine I couldn`t find any reference to Russia in that publication to being the King of the North .
To my knowledge they haven`t identified anyone as the king of the north since the publication of "Your Will Be Done On Earth" that identified the USSR as the king of the north which has long since been disbanded .

this apology follows the individual apologies to child abuse victims and congregations by religious leaders and religious institutions across australia, with the exception of the governing body of jehovah’s witnesses who have refused to ‘say sorry’ to any victims or survivors of child sexual abuse or to acknowledge their suffering.. .
jehovah’s witness victims and survivors to attend the national apology ceremony.
zeb , I have sent an e-mail to SBS TV suggesting they do a story about this on their Insight program with Jenny Brockie and mentioned the ARC and the unlikely hood of Jehovah`s Witnesses making an apology.

If more people on here do something similar by contacting some media form ,digital ,print , or TV , then more negative publicity will be given about the Jehovah`s Witness religion informing the general public that its not just a harmless religion.

it was announced in this year’s annual meeting that they believe that the king of the north is russia and the king of the south is us/britain.
for me this is the first time hearing from the society actually identifying the identity of the king of the north.

thus ot image of god is someone who is actively involved in the responses of people on earth.. however, jesus conveyed the truth about god when he said god makes provisions for life’s enjoyment equally for all types of people alike (mathew 5:44-47) as he wishes good for all people [benevolence for its own sake] and renews the same in case they are depleted/destroyed (mathew 19:28) with no intervention whatsoever in between.
thus jesus presented an image of god who is not actively involved in the responses of people on earth because there is a guiding mechanism already in place—externally and internally.. external: people can easily choose their course of action looking at the results available in plenty because anyone can see the chain of action in anyone’s case: destiny is the result of habit, and habit is the result of tendency, and tendency is the result of repeated action, and action is the result of thinking and thinking is the result of belief system, and belief system is the result of family, religion, country … into which one is born.
And smiddy 3 rejects the Mosaic concept of God and the the Jesus Christian concept of God and lo and behold the Governing Body of Jehovah`s Witnesses concept of God.
My word is just as valid or greater as any of theirs .
My word is in the here and now and not 2000 or 4000 years ago..
