Just awful how a male could actually verbally abuse let alone physically attack a wife or any female. I had the kindest caring father that never even thought of doing anything like that. And his gene’s I have inherited. I just hate any form of hurt or violence. But there is plenty of it out there.
Am not married myself it does have it’s good points but it can also be a real challenge to keep it all together in these high cost of living, health issues and many other critical factors. For those who have had great marriages congratulations.

i just discovered this translation into 'hawai'i pidgin' and for some reason found it very amusing.
they even dubbed the caleb and sophia cartoons into this dialect.. not because i look down on pidgin speakers in any way, more about the way translations like this are revealing and telling in unintended ways..

So the silly season is underway once more.
I am so glad I don’t need to get caught up in this nonsense!
I suppose Christmas gives people a lift in spirits and a sense of excitement.
And that is their choice but as for me I am very content to just let the whole occasion just fade away. It seems so cosmetic and empty to me when the sentiment of the celebration is for peace, harmony and joy - yet the world continues on its insane, chaotic and war plagued course.

Sacred Days
by Riley inyesterday was remembrance day/veterans days in canada.
we had a couple younger half wits in the cong in field service yesterday.
both are trying to climb the ladder with the entire elder body ready to die in the next 10 years.. i just of thought it was a dick move to go door to door about the merits of fighting for freedom or not fighting on such a sacred day.

So Ukrainians are fleeing the country and seeking asylum in safe countries.
We have some here in Australia that we have made welcome. And JW’s preach peace and refuse to join any army and take the lives of others. I find that stand admirable, if only everyone else had the same resolve we could live in peace!
Such a firm resolve makes JW’s true Christians! And there are other Christian groups who also take Christs command to love his neighbour also.

etc.i was a widdle kid sitting in front of a tiny black and white tv set when the very first broadcastsof political conventions, deal-making, debates (nixon vs kennedy), assassinations (jfk, rfk, martin luther king, etc.
) i grew up with duck and cover under my elementary schooldesk, the cold war, the iron curtain, the korean war, the vietnam war and i went to federal prisonas a jw conscientious objector while hippies, flower children, political activists protested and universitystudents were fired up on by troops.i grew up reading newspapers (2 of them).
