this is probably going to be the most difficult thing i have ever written.

but, since i dont plan on being around [here] much longer, what the hell?

for some time now, we have discussed and expressed our outrage and horror at child molestation.

(((((DR))))) I know the courage it took for you to speak up for the little boys. My younger brother was molested by an Aunt and I don't think it will ever cease to haunt him. My son was also molested, by Elders. He is just so damaged by this horrible crime. When I put lambs on KH doorsteps, it is not just for the little girls, it is for my brother, my son, and you. When I hold my son and try to comfort him, I will also be thinking of you. You will always be in my prayers.

It's been awhile, PLEASE HELP

it's been about 6 months since my last post.

In my personal opinion, you are right, it is a Satanic cult. BUT...it will not serve you well to use such opinions in any court. The question in the court will not be about religion, good or bad, but about the best place for your children to reside. If you start talking about Satanic cults, or bashing her religion in any way, you will come off looking like a lunatic to the judge (who may be a free mason himself) as he is bound by law to uphold her right to freedom of religion. Get the best lawyer money can buy, and keep your cool.

I know all about the lies they will tell a court of law. When I read a transcript of my parents divorce and custody hearings, I was sickened by the lies my father told the court to get custody of me. That was when I lost all respect for him. He didn't trust his god enough to tell the truth and let the chips fall. I was eight years old when my father got custody of me, and I was 15 when I found out how he did it. I promptly left his house and moved in with my mother. The kids will come around, as long as you don't give in to the temptation to lose your cool. It may take time, but I believe it was Confusious who said, "A lie has short legs. The truth will outrun a lie."

Dear Girl, I am both a daughter and a mother. My mother shunned me years ago, and I know your pain. No words can heal this, except a word from her. But eventually, she might change her mind, and when she does, you might have changed yours too. As a mother, I could NEVER turn my back on my child!! You have lots of friends here, and some of us, myself included, would be so proud to have a daughter like you!! Keep your chin up, Luv, it will get easier with time.

Shunning? What About The Children??

hi to eveyone,.

i was d'fd 18 months ago, i was prepared for the shunning within my family and the borg of all my friends (as i never associated with "worldly people") but i have been totally blown away with how nobody cares about my 2 young children!!.

my kids have not heard from their aunties and uncle since i was thrown out in feb '01.

I am so sorry to hear about the pain they are inflicting on your children. It is a form of "theocratic warfare". They hurt you and control you through your children. I remember when my sister told Mom that she wasn't going to the meetings anymore. Mom grabbed a rifle and pointed at my sister's baby. She said she might as well kill her now as wait for Jehovah to do it at armageddon. She told my sister and I that all children outside of the organization would die. Only children whose parents were in good standing with the JW's would survive. Since I was dissassociated, I was dead and so were my children. Well, I kept sending my kids to the hall and oh God, how I wish I had NOT done that! I guess it was ok in their minds to rape dead kids. (Isn't there a biblical law regarding necrophilia? Maybe not) Anyhow, my advice to you is>>>KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AWAY FROM THE KINGDOM HALL. You never know what kind of pervert lurks there.

Wow, makes you think doesn't it? How will my parents deal with the inevitable fall of their organization. They will have no place to go, and they will have to face the realization that they have been taken in by a collosial fraud. I feel sorry for them. There are things they could never tell me the truth about because they feared being disfellowshipped. I am starting to understand the predicament they are in. They were both born into the cult and have never in their lives known any other way of life. Both are now in their 70's. I hope I can be of some help for them in the turmoil to come.

my story

hi everybody.. this is my first post.

i have been reading the forums for some time, but have not posted til now, as it brings painful memories.. my experience with the jw's began in 1967, when my mother was killed in a car crash, and my father married a jw six months later.

we were a ''blended family''.

Hey Little Witch!! Boy can I relate! I was born into the cult, and when I was 8 my mother was disfellowshipped. Dad got custody in the divorce and he married a JW when I was 12. She brought two kids to the union and I had three brothers, so altogether there were 6 kids. But her two were perfect, while we were filled with every evil. My worst offence was that I looked like my mother. If she could have smacked my face OFF, they would have both praised Jah!! We also were filled with terror of the demons who raged all around us. Eventually I decided that since Jehovah hated me and therefore would never protect me from the demons...If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I was just sooo tired of being so sad and scared and sick all the time. I was a "weirdo" at the Hall, and a weirdo at school. No wonder I attemped suicide!!

Reading the stories, I can't help but think that I should write a book. I have lived every story of childhood abuse!! Spousal abuse has also been part of my life.

Anyhow, we survived, and if we could, anyone could. I guess. I am personally involved in spreading the word to my neighbours and friends about the Silent Lambs site. Hopefully my small contribution will help someone protect their children. "And you shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free' I never knew the real truth until I left the cult. Now, after years of deprogramming, I am FREE.

A Week Later; I'm Still Confused.......

well, it's been one week since mom called to tell me that she is reverting back to a previous behavior from 1981, called "hard line shunning".

this is after some ten years now, of having communication with me in a restrictive manner.

(well, as "normal" as it could be for us anyway.

MIND RAPE?

i read something recently, possibly, (no probably) here, on the subject of mind rape.

my encounter with the jws was kind of self inflicted, i.e.

i was not brought up in it.. i am sort of coming to the conclusion, that is meaning, that with my association with the witnesses and reading here, that those that were introduced to this particular form of mind control later on in life, seem to be more adversly affected mentally than those that have the misfortune of being 'brought up in the faith'.

I was born into the cult. Went to every meeting and bible study from birth. Learned to read from society publications. A lot of that stuff is pretty scarey for a little kid. Little kids listen to adult conversations and draw their own conclusions, which can and do result in nightmares both waking and sleeping.

When I was 5 I was raped by a neighbour (not in the "truth"). The week before he raped me he had caught me playing "show me yours and I'll show you mine" with a boy from down the road who was also 5. He told my parents who wailed in grief, that perhaps I was no longer a virgin, and Jehovah God woud cast me out!!Did I mention we were five years old? So the next week he raped me and I couldn't tell because, what if my parents cast me out too? Of course, I realize now that my mother DID know, how could she not? So all my growing up years, I knew I wasn't a virgin, so nothing mattered, and I tried very hard to die.

Being raped physically was NOTHING compared to the rape of my mind that followed.

Neat question...My kids are my passion, and I live to pass on all the good things I've leaned since leaving the "borg". I also have 5 grandchildren who need loving, spoiling, teaching and I hope they'll remember their Krazylady Granny as someone always willing to give them her "wisdom" laughter and lots of fun. They give ME warm fuzzies every day..I strive to give them back. I also try to make the world a better place for every one else's kids
