Foolednomore, I got McDonalds lunch right before field service, with my then fiancée. Some JW, they wouldn’t tell me who, reported that he was smoking. It was a straw! Such assholes these witnesses are. We put up with so much crap from jealous morons.

a christian could expect death or injury resulting from listening to jesus but should this validate possible erroneous understanding of the bible?
we know that peter was executed because of his christianity and so was jesus by the way.

this includes dietary habits, such as the prohibition of pork or fat, as well as the prohibition of blood.. take a look at the following verses: mt 15:11, mk 7:15-19, acts 11:7-9, 1 tim 4:3-5.. the jehovah's witnesses say that, yes, but in the acts of the apostles (15) the consumption of blood, idol meat, and strangled animals is also prohibited, meaning the new testament still forbids it.
for catholics, the council of florence settled this issue, stating that this apostolic regulation was only a temporary measure to facilitate agreement between jews and gentiles in the early church.

Easy prompt, I donated plasma (for money) when I retired, they have a very strict policy about who they will pay for plasma. They reject drug addicts. I asked about this, because I didn’t understand why they were so strict about who they accept. They said that previously, there were no standards, but the US GOVERNMENT passed laws that curtailed this practice. I ended up getting another full time job, but, after 8 months, I am finally stopping work, as of August 31st. I will probably sell it again, pays our grocery bill.

Riley, I discovered what an orgy was, at the Kingdom Hall. A “sister” came into the “truth” from door to door, and accepting a study. After she was baptized, they put her on the stage to discuss what she had been involved in, before studying. She engaged in orgies, among other sexual topics. I really had my eyes opened, I was pretty grossed out, picturing, in my 10 yer old mind. What happens in an orgy. Oh,she was disfellowshipped about 3 months later, never saw her again. 🤷♀️
