if you are an 'old timer' and wonder why the watchtower and awake.
magazines are so bland and lacking in content, it may come as no surprize.
to you that it's often because a number of topics are 'off limits'.. that is, certain subjects are so troublesome to the watchtower leadership.
i was wondering about the voting thing.
in the USA isn't it a federal offense to prevent someone from voting? one being an employer demanding they their employees cannot leave work to vote
and maybe other orgs that prevent people from voting by threat of excommunication ? lets say the catholic church told it members they could not vote in the country they are in or they could ONLY vote democrat/republican. that would be illegal right?
disfellowshipping on smoking.. especially smoking a cigar from time to time does not have to be harmfull.
but i personally have disfellowshipped persons for smoking sigarettes, although i never saw a good biblical base.i mean ..how many filthy fat friends did we have, addicted to sugar, carbs, and you just knew they were going to have health-problems sooner or later.
now i smoke cigars, maybe one good cuban a day, and i am slim, active and can run 10 miles without any problems.. who had the same doubts about this dogma?

where do you come off with the misrepresenting BS about racism and being forced to be made white? WHAT?
i've heard stories about JDubs people who were racist or could fit into the mold of racist attitudes, some i know to be true, but at an originazational level? you are full of s$&t!
that's right, you come to a place, where, for the most part JDubs do NOT have a voice. where if they challenge what is being misrepresnted about them enough, they can get locked out because they are viewed as trouble makers, lurkers, trolls, spammers, etc.
however, i will grant that it took the WTB&TS an awefully long time to get a black man on the GB. so, in that way, they may have been sending a message.
i've even heard that some think that being a JDub is a black religion, yes that is correct, i have heard "wordly" people say that a few times.
but i like to deal with the real world too. like not being able to get a scholarship to college or get to make an extra $10,000 a year and still qualify for a low interest loan on a first time home or getting a job because of affirmative action; that is, getting a job NOT by my OWN merits.
or the chance to have a channel called WET -The White Entertainment Channel.
or the abilty to pull the race card when i want to.

MJ pulls the race card himself when his last ablum goes down the toilet and says how discriminating the "industry" is. he has made multi-millions. what? the greatest entertainer of the 80's-90's excellent stuff. i have albums of his, they are STILL fantastic, but when someone pulls the stunt he's pulling i'm tempted to drop his stuff in the crapper.

worldwide mass class action suits against wts - visit.
a consortium of us attorneys will represent victims throughout the.
united states and are now arranging for law firms in canada, europe etc.
if there is a class action suit then wouldn't the WTB&TS be entitled to know who is on the list of victims and also making it a case for public record exposure?
i have often have stated my desire to sue them for ruining my life regarding education. what i am doing now is not what i really wanted to be doing. it's ok, but nothing gets me more upset/depressed than when i start really thinking about it and with each passing year how long ago it was when i made my fateful decision.
it's chiefly because of the all negative connotations that are/were associated with getting a higher ed. but since it was ultimately my choice (after all they didn't put a gun Armageddon to my head), i don't know how my efforts would pan out.

why are all angels in jw publications male?
i was thinking about this today, as i notice other christian religions show angels as male and female.
do you think that this was another way of showing how males were superior to females in their teaching, or that their god "jehovah" was more favorable to the male appearance.
stop thinking in earthly terms you flesh[l]y pundits.
where does it say in the entire bible that the angels are male or for that matter, Jehovah? He/Him/His -etc does not necessarily refer to "male" but rather masculine -don't think it's the same thing.
it refers to the kingdom as a she doesn't it? does that mean that the kingdom is a female?
We a nthropomorphize things to get an understanding of abstract concepts.
isn't there somewhere where it says that they are neither male or female? or alludes to it? closets i can find is Matthew 22:30

i am not in any way condoning the murder of Jews by any means. i am just stating the "facts" as I read them in the bible.
how am i or anyone for that matter, including Jdubs, going to control the actions of God? God himself indicates that he is not happy with anyone who denies his chief representitive. i can choose either to believe it or disbelieve it, i happen to believe it, because i believe in the inspiration of the bilbe. the jdubs don't judge the jews they simply read in the bible that anyone who denies the Christ does not have the father; it's as simple as that.
1 John 2:22-25 -so if you deny the Christ, how do you get the promise held out in verse 25 of everlasting life?
