My Story******Short Version!

i was raised a poor white child in the deep south...ok, florida, where i still am.

i was the typical slightly self righteous witness, miss goody goody, left school at 16 to pioneer, which i did for 4 years, met a guy and married him.

he had 2 kids from a previous marriage and we had 2 kids of our own.

A Revelation To Expatbrit

funny old life isnt it....

i was just looking out the window, as it would happen a middle aged woman, or perhaps a young woman worn out with her life walked past.

she stopped on the edge of the mall where my wifes office is, and sat on a bench outside the window.

on close look, she couldnt have been more than late 30's, but probably only 35.. she sat for a while just looking at the ground in front of her, her face just exhibiting that blank look of the world weary.

And NEVER think any of us would judge you for appealing your df'ing or for wanting to be reinstated! That is a personal thing for all of us. And there is much to be said for wanting to be in control of your destiny. You are on the road to healing, and it sounds like NPY is a great aid to you in that. I hope you both take good care of each other.

Why did Jesus not start his ministry till 30?

i have often wondered this.

his sole purpose in coming to earth was to make disciples and the sacrifice.

he knew this.. so why did he wait till 30 yrs of age to dedicate himself to his father?

Good question:

I personally do not believe in the Bible at all. It took me awhile to reach that conclusion. And your point about the 2 disobedient ones in the beginning messing it up for all mankind is the main reason I don't believe the whole thing. It just does not stand up to logical reasoning. Period.

And I too could have done without witnessing to my peers! My God, how we used to cringe on those occasions when our neighborhood would be assigned to us for the morning. When I was very young, under the age of 10, this was the worst torture imagineable! And my mother, who was a spineless creature unable to speak up for herself, did not enjoy it either, but being the good little submissive female she was, endured it, and drug us 4 kids along as well.

Oh well...just happy now that I'm sitting home on a fine Sunday morning talking with you fine people instead of sitting at some boring meeting! Woohooo

joey's teacher sent a note home to his mother saying, "joey seems to be a very bright boy, but spends too much of his time thinking about sex and girls.".

the mother wrote back the next day, "if you find a solution, please advise.

i have the same problem with his father.
