why do kids love wellies so much?.
we went to buy liam some new school shoes and clothes yesterday and both lads wanted to buy some wellies - liam got green tweenie ones and dylan got red thomas the tank engine ones.. they wore them when we got home and didn't take them off till bedtime.
this morning they are both walking round in their pyjamas and ... wellies.

yesterday, when farkel announced his departure and shunning of us all, i was incensed and outraged.
in fact i had similar feeling's to those day's 20yrs ago, after being df'd, where former friends and relatives, just simply said 'your no good, your not worthy of my/our attention anymore' turned thier back's and walked away from me.
then witnessed farkel ignore the sweet comments lilac's writes just for him....made we want to ring his neck.

we visited angharad's parents at the weekend and got a call on sunday night from her sister who'd been called by my sister as they hadn't been able to contact us .... the message was not a happy one:.
my dad has had a heart attack and was in intensive care in hospital.. it was a while before i managed to speak to anyone over there with people probably out but i eventually spoke to his wife who says he's doing ok and has now been moved to the main ward but is being kept in as you would expect.
he may have to be moved to calgary for some investigation / tests.. he had heart surgery about 15 years ago and i think 4 of his 5 bypasses have failed so he has to take quite a bit of medicine for pain and stuff.

My sympathies. I wish your Dad a speedy recovery. I don't even want to think about how my sister and I will deal with "the family" when something happens and an illness may require our presence. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, I guess.

tonight, tracy and i met venice and her parents for the first time, and had dinner.
they were very nice people and we really enjoyed getting to know them.. we talked about a lot of things, one of which was doing an apost-o-fest in florida sometime.. thanks to you venice and folks for spending time with us!.

Gopher, Venice and her parents made the long trip across Alligator Alley. Actually, they were on their way home from a trip, and very kindly took the time out and added a few miles to their driving to come to our little town and eat dinner with us. It was extremely nice! Moe, we had dinner at the same place we met you...we are going to start calling it the Devil's Hall They were really interesting people to talk to...and Venice is as fun in real life as she is on the board...and just as pretty as you think she is Slip. So, we need to come up with a good central location for a Florida Fest...any suggestions?
