  Should members of an organization feel dependent on a group of imperfect men?

  when it comes to "everything we could ever need in a spiritual sense," stated by a group of imperfect men, do the jehovah' witnesses feel comfortable knowing that?

  does it make them feel solely dependent on these men since they satisfy their "spiritual needs"?

  does this quote make them feel limited in interpreting unclear/questionable passages within the bible that some jws may have at times?.

  Assembly Talks... Are these assigned based on the thickness of the envelope?

  from talking to several fading jws over the years, it really does appear that assembly talk assignments are usually given to those pos who consistently hand over the thickest envelopes to the co at the end of his week-long visits.

  if the envelope was too thin (or there was no enevelope at all), chances are that no one in that congo would get an assemby talk assighnment.

  also, if the co and his wife were treated well or taken to expensive restaurants during their visit, that apparently increased the po's chances of getting an assembly talk assignment.

  Fictious "Universal Sovereignty" Issue Proposed By Watchtower Corporation Is Idiotic

  ok so a big part of the wt corporation ideological structure is the invention of the issue before all creation being "universal sovereignty".. the story goes like this very basically:.

  for untold years jehovah's soverneignty was never challenged, then after so many millions of years jehovahs started his earthly creation with adam&eve being the culmination of that work.

  soon afterwards satan seduces eve to disobey jehovah and thus we have the very first act of disobedience satan slanders god by telling eve god is selfish as to the reason he forbids eating this other wise nice looking fruit adam joins his wife in the rebellion.. god in his infinite wisdom allows this rebellion because this was a challenge to his sovereingty and so he is allowing a reasonable amount of time to let mankind and angels see for themselves that his rulership is better that satan's.. so basically it is like a bet he has with satan or who's rulership is best, and he's allowing time to prove his is far superior.. well if you look at it logically it don't add up.. 1. if god is going to allow satan to prove his point about who's rulership is better why is he alway interfereing and interveining that's unfair.. 2. god goes on killing sprees of people man women and chilldren (not very smart for some trying to prove his rulership is better for people to follow.. 3. god show himself to be jealous (not a good trait for a ruler to endear himself to people).. 4. god's scare people to except his ruler ship.. and i have even more reason to show the whole idea is a made up sham..

  The Universal sovereingnty idea is a wt invention to baffle everybody.

  The hidden creator rules by laws that if respected work quite well.

  This way of doing things is never successfully challenged.

  how does the flawed story of the snake fruit snack affect gods mighty rule?

  perhaps in a grandiose way WT BtS sees itsef as an expression of that elusive Universal Sovereignty?

  if you have your eyes and ears open and can put 2 and 2 together, you have like many of us, have figured out that there is an impending financial collapse in the united states.

  the type of financial collapse that likely has never been seen.. whether you believe this is being done intentionally by global power hungry groups bent on bringing us to our knees, in order to push their agenda, or whether it is being done out of carelessness and stupidity is hardly relevant at this point.. the writing is on the wall.

  experts (and all who want to) can see it , high level officials expect it, and are already implementing the contingencies that are needed in order handle the civil unrest that will ensue.

  Anyone noticed a curiosity on the Memorial Invitation for 2013 ?

  i can't scan the memorial invitation for 2013, but i was looking at it today and noticed something curious on the front drawing.. we have jesus as the central figure of the composition.

  to his right and bottom, a large crown, in colour, of shiny happy people of diverse origins.. separated from this by the figure of jesus, is another group, a much smaller one, on the left and as if ascending to the top, and grayed.. clearly portrayed in this group is the face of ct russell and apparently william tyndale.

  but then, also sarah and abraham and other personalities of the ot seem to be represented there.

  the group BEHIND he handsome man are the dead, the PAST.

  the group in front are the living. (although jehovah is said to be God of the living too).

  but you can see the dream of the WT that there will be way more living, PAYING members then already gone (to be resurrected) humans.

  They said one time (do not know where, when) "we know of no scripture that would require Abraham to take the emblems." of course,

  they forgot about chapter 6 of John, and even that great Crowd is not taken the emblems either, unless they fall asleep during the M talk, only to wake up and sip and eat.

  When the OS will wake up spiritually, they all will do that. right now it is secretly at home.

  age of people before the flood

  here is some question about the ages mentioned in the bible of the people living before the flood.. the age of all the ten persons unto noah is mentioned there when the get there first son, and the number of years that the lived after that.. so many of the numbers mentioned here end with a zero or a five that it started me wondering.

  there are also one or two that end with an 8 or 3. no other numbers.

  if we make the assumption that this are 8 and 3 are rounded from 2.5 and 7.5 we can say that all numbers are a multiple of 2.5 or 30 months.. when you look at this statistically it is impossible that it is coincidence (with or without the assumption above).

  do it for the leading leadership , forget about the little ones needs. then, and only then will you get everlasting lfe.

  DUI Defendant Tries to Place Awake With My Prosecutor Daughter

  you read the title correctly.. my daughter is a prosecutor who right this moment is prosecuting a dui crash with major injuries.

  the defendant--the drunk driver--just tried to place an awake magazine with her while both of them were in the courtroom.. .

  Question about future enthusiasm of the congregations.

  i was the store manager of a large furniture store - part of a national chain.

  we had large sales once month, and giganic four day sale every quarter with a large amount of print and tv advertising.

  for these quarterly sales we would have conference calls every morning with our directors to report our numbers, contests for the salespeople, and target goals for each salesperson, individual store, and the national district.

  I think when you contrast the genuinly enthusiastic shepherds of old: example Laurier Saumure or RR, LC, WS-- and the current crop of enforcers and their underlings, and

  the policies they have to dictate, it is no wonder with all the factors already mentioned, its only personal relationships that count.
