Honor among exJws
by ticatoo inhello all......some things that have happened during the past week have made me think about exjws and honor.
we all remember 'theocratic warfare' and how it is ok to lie to those who don't deserve the truth.
so, my question is.....are exjws as a group more dishonest than people from other religious groups?

by Big Jim init seems like to me the majority of people who are in the truth, are were in the truth was a result of either a family member are a friend witnessing to them and not many seem to have been found in the door to door work.. from my years of associating with the borg i cannot recall many coming in the truth from the door to door work.. how were you sucked in?
for me it was my aunt who has now even though i am not disfellowshipped decided to write me out of her will to the tune of about $150,000.00 (maybe i should hang around a couple more years)dont think i will.. please respond .

most who write here, don't belive in the jw teachings.. most are complainers and apostate.. does any one know were i can find a genuine jw site?

Is God Faithful?
by ticatoo ingod is by definition all knowing.
as an omniscient being, what is there that would require faith on god's part?.
god tells us in the bible to be like him... "be ye perfect, even as your father in heaven is perfect".. .

Could it be so simple? Truth via so much fear?
by Celtic inas i look upon the life journey to date i cannot help but wonder why things have to be as complicated as they are.. life throughout the jw experience was complicated, at least for me it was.. here i am thinking about love.
i find it almost derisory that an organisation teaching truth does so through the gradual instillment of untold fears, threats of punishment if one does not comply and here were not just talking about punishment in that sense of the word but spiritual punishment, persecution, which, connotations used to be, a living day/nightmare.. so enough of doom and gloom, fear, punishment, threats etc.
maybe its not just me who has come to the conclusion that love really couldn't work with something like that and at least now, i feel far happier for focussing my directions elsewhere from the wt wonky timepeice movement.. i actually feel better than i once was, i can feel the sensation and experience the difference in my outlook on life, its perspectives and an even narrower way forwards.

New Poster....Long time lurker
by ticatoo inhello all.....after months of lurking....both here and on h2o...i have decided to take the plunge and become active here.
i am a former jw.....3rd generation.
i walked away and haven't looked back.
